Has anyone ever tried explaining this show to a friend? "Yeah so it's a show about nothing. Every single joke is an inside joke. Everyone hates the host. It's honestly not good but it's my favorite podcast to ever exist"
The only person to whom I’ve even dared to mention this show is a close friend who’s also a Jake and Amir (and Headgum sketches) fan, so I knew he’d get it. But if I ever feel bold enough o mention it to someone else, I’m definitely copying and pasting your description. XD
I just recommended it to a friend today. I was thinking of sharing #9 Subjective Trivia. Does anyone have any other good first episode suggestions?

Zach is one of the best guests. I didn’t recognize his humour in his first two episodes and I don’t think the other guests did either. He was genius in the audit haha. This episode he was even better, Austin powers for bond of the week killed me haha

in terms of bond of the week picks, i feel like johnny’s pick of BTS is yet to be topped; both in terms of sheer outlandish-ness but also a pick that weirdly works?
Easily one of the funniest episodes and definitely in my top 3, the writing segment was ridiculous.... need more

I’m so glad someone else thinks this. He’s a funny dude but I had to turn this off bc the vocal fry somehow makes me feel short of breath.

It’s the headgum holiday best of 2020 episode. Geoff takes a deep SWIG from a bottle of JACK. “Amir has sent in a long email outlining my faults. I’m going to read it out loud show the type of HATE I get around here” he keeps going on for hours, getting drunk and reading hate mail from the headgum staff. Or not.

When I listen to this podcast instead of watching it, when they have those awkward pauses i legit think my phone has crashed, app has closed or just no signal. Its good to know now (after watching these videos) its just Geoff poor communication skills making the audience and guest feel awkward. Love the show keep up the good work

I wonder if HG thinks that this guest embodies their fan base and is therefore relatable. Otherwise I don’t see what he adds, and to have him on multiple time? Do better. Diversify you guests and broaden your fan base.
