I remember that in 2021, I was in the 8th grade of high school, and whenever I went to the court, the 9th grade was rehearsing this song and dance every day for a June party or At graduation, I don't remember. But when I saw them rehearsing, I had already recognized that the movements were the same as those from Just Dance 2014 and what the song was because I already knew them before haha. Unfortunately, the same thing didn't happen to me when I went to 9th grade the following year, it was so sad, I would have liked to rehearse, I still remember several movements of this dance even though 8 years had passed ever since I first saw this song and dance. Great moments❤
I really enjoyed this video, the choreography is so fun and the energy is infectious! But honestly, I think the song could've been better if they picked something a little less mainstream. Timber's catchy, sure, but it feels like the same old vibe we've heard before. Just my two cents!
I have just installed Just Dance on my Nintendo after about 5 years of neglecting it, and holy cow this is so nostalgic, my third grade teacher used to put this on when we had done enough work and were behaving in class. We loved this particular one so much to the point it got banned because we weren’t allowed to do piggy back rides (see the end) so this one got temporarily banned from the class. When 3rd grade ended, the people who were in the school the previous year (including me) would ask the teacher if they behaved and did enough work they could have just dance break time. Obviously, the 4th grade teacher let us just because we were 4th graders and were so innocent. We discovered new ones, like watch me whip nae nae, etc. This video started to get old real fast, and it was buried deep in our minds, left to be forgotten. Finally, 5th grade happened. The teacher hd already done the same thing with the students in her class the previous year. She would put on all sorts of Just Dances, even ones we hadn’t seen before. There was one, but I forgot it whoopsie. When that year ended, we forgot all about Just dance, but every time I hear Watch me whip nae nae or think about my 3rd grade friend Kira, (gave her a different name due to privacy) I think of it. Yesterday, I saw in an electronics shop: JUST DANCE: 2023 EDITION. We bought it and I tried it out. It’s been 5 years, I’ve still been the best at it, but a little rusty too. If anyone wants to dance with me, my username is CheezitOfficial!
They unfortunately removed many of these 2010s hits, some of my personal favorites like this one, Gangnam style and Gentlemen. I really hope they can get the rights back for some of these songs!
