Is Zulrah still worth doing in 2023?

- I've been asked the question a lot over the past year so figured I'd make a quick video to tell you all what I think about Zulrah going into 2023 :) This is currently my favorite boss in the game and I'll be sad when I finally get the green collection log for Zulrah.

I love zulrah, I went 1050kc before I saw any unique and i still wanted to do it cause it's as engaging or afk as you want it, I do full crystal with bowfa and thralls, it's decent, consistent gp, and above all keeps me want to play the game
That's awesome to hear. Not gonna lie I don't use thrall because my average kill time gets worse... no idea why but it's like having the book nerfs my account. With thralls I see jad phase every kill. Without almost never.
Nice vid! Something with ZUlrah just isn't clicking with me, so I'm giving up on it. I already got the blowpipe and the trident before I got to fight it, so I don't see much point in it anymore outside of farming gold, which I can find way more chill methods than hitting my head against this particular boss. I might come back to it when I'm farming out collection logs though 😋
I get around 28 to 30 kills an hr consistently with sang staff, imbued heart. I don't use teleports like you do, though. I go back in everytime until i run out of supplies, teleport back to house, regain my stats, tele to bank, restock, use zul teleport, repeat. Ez mode, get about 8 to 13 kills per trip this way.

I just get less bored at zulrah over vorkath. It’s that simple for me. When I’m hard grinding gp I’ll go vorkath but I still gotta get my mutagens.
Great video! am not good at toa and cox and it's difficult to find a team when your not good at raid, I find myself good at zulrah, vorkath and nex so I better kill these instead burn out at raids. what do you think about this?

Realistically the best money maker in the game is the one that doesn't burn you out. I can do the gauntlet pretty easily after 450+ kills and solo tombs but I would rather not. It's time consuming and boring for me now. If you burn out you will lose far more GP than you will make doing the best money makers.

I just started doing PVM for the first time recently. With lower stats and not the best gear, I’m only making like 100-200k more profit/hour at zulrah than I was making at the giant mole, who requires infinitely less effort lol. Of course if I hit the rare table at zulrah that would change, or if I had better stats/gear, but what I’m getting at is that to someone new it all seems extremely relative.

@@Adaptationsosrs He seems like a pretty popular boss still so I’m sure people would be interested in the video. Nearly every trip I did I had to hop 10-15 worlds.
4k kills still hunting that mutagen
I just copped full crystal and a bowfa and chilled at zulrah for a few hours tonight. The range only method is chill af and is way more enjoyable than vork. I can’t even finish a blue drag task at vork. With the bofa, I find zulrah really relaxing and profitable.
I made 100m in a month at Zul but we're talking 6-8 hours a day lol. Got super lucky with uniques and at about 1.4k kc now. I've been using Ahrims/trident with blessed d'hide/bp switch and I have 99 range and 93 mage.

Zulra is my first boss I learned, it was hard, died 20 times in the beginning but it is worht it, alraidy got fang after 30 kills, good steady moneymaker. BOWFA is relaxt and zulrah is just fun
congrats!!! thats incredible achievement you did! today i finally killed zulrah for first time after 30-40 attempts lol. Rotations and switch prays are hardest part of fight for new players that never do pray switch like me. I was able to kill zulrah with toxic blowpipe and decent ranged gears with barely few sharks left to eat. Switch gears will be next to learn after i get prays and rotations down!
Zulrah is highly recommended for new players to learn high level bossing!

If you account for the 100+ teleports you used at current GE price of 20k+ you lost money without a unique
Per hour I use 28. 1 per kill. I'm sorry but you definitely don't lose money using them. My 1.1m in supplies includes the teleport cost
@@Adaptationsosrs 28k ea. 28 kills an hour is 785k just in teleports. Assuming no unqiue you under 2m in 1 hour Please tell me how profitable this is
@@Vadrivas I'm not sure what your point here is? I factored that into my average calculations and if anything I'm being unfair the opposite direction. I didn't include the zulandra I received because I didn't sell them. I started the hour with 47 and ended with 37. So really I should have included an additonal 20 teleports as income before the supply costs.... If you exclude the uniques from the drop table zulrah's average gp/hr at 28 kills/hr is 2.8m before supplies which means even if you were the most unlucky person in the world and literally never got a unique you'd still get 1.7m an hour on average. It's pretty easy math to do yourself. The simple way to put it is that you use about 40k in supplies per kill and the average kill is worth 123k when factoring in unique drop rates. Making 2m an hour also isn't losing money like your first comment suggested.

Yeah I'm considering it trying to figure out the best way to piece together a more progression style of clips similar of a friend or other yourubers I'm just so bad at collecting those clips hahaha

been playing iron man for 100 days play time, still don't have high enough herblore for antivenom.

All you needed to tell me was not in the top 20 money makers. Maybe I need to just go with theiving.
Well to be fair if you have max gear it is. The wiki caters to the lower end of the gear/leveled players. Thieving also you can go dry if you do elves or vyre which means you could very often make less than the consistency of zulrah. But to each their own.

Haha eventually I have to do wildy bosses not looking forward to it tbh. Kinda waiting to see what happens with the wildy boss rework they've talked about
@@Adaptationsosrs yeah ill be honest it's just better to wait for the rework to happen done 2.1k callisto kills and its just not worth it so yeah you'll miss out on the safespots but the good news will be a singles version of the bosses so no way any pkers will get you in the cave only downside is the singles one will have alot less chance of dropping the new wilderness weapon upgrades

Thank you for the video and now you've allowed me to go back to kill it again. I'm more of a hydra or vork guy hahah but I have like 700 kc on zulrah and will be returning as of this moment.

@@Adaptationsosrs i think what he is trying to say most people will camp zulrah for more then 2 hours hell i know when i was doing zulrah grind for the pet i would do it for 5+ hours a day sucks to see her being only 1.6m a hour though these days but tbh if you just run a rune dragon alt on the side she is pretty decent money funny thing is its easier to run a rune dragon alt along side killing zulrah on your main then it is to kill vorkath along side a rune dragon alt

It is easier but the 1 hit mechanics get me a lot the second I look away, so I die more, make less money, and get more frustrated lol.
