Hi Justin ! Lovely to see you here and thanks 4 sharing your summer trip and ideas with us ! Can't wait to see your documentary. Warm hearted greetings from one of your fans in Europe! Best, Mike
Finally an excellent collection of actually useful things to shoot with. Fantastic insight and intelligently explained. RUclips at its best. Thank you.
Loved your photography Justin. Also, I'm not sure if they changed it (I doubt they would have) but the DJI batteries discharge themselves to storage voltage for battery health. I know you can change this, so if you don't want them discharging after a few days you can make it that way. Obviously your battery health will suffer but I'm glad they give you the option. I can't remember how to adjust the timing but there should be documentation online!
Hey Justin! Sorry to ask, ik I can research, but I’ve done a lot and would like a recommendation from a creator I trust. I started my career with the FP, a camera I hold close to my heart. I got and get a lot of use out of it, run and gun street photography/videography. Only issue for me is that there’s no mechanical shutter so flicker is always an issue trying to workaround…also the sensors dynamic range is challenging. I really need a camera, with a mechanical shutter, an evf, impressive dynamic range and true to life color capture in RAW, and viable video capability in todays modern age, primarily for documentary filmmaking. Can you recommend me your preferred hybrid within those perameters? I honestly had my heart ser on the Nikon z6III but have seen odd results on the depths of it’s dynamics…..and then maybe Sony, the popular option, is the best option……it’s just that I don’t align with their business as of late and the culture around their users….always mimicing each other and creating clone content….it’s just such a mental turnoff for me. I need a well performing and unbiased hybrid camera that gives me ultimate control in the editing room.
@@JustinPhillip Thanks for the ideas, I might just holdout for a new Lumix S1 flagship to utilize what I have adapted for L mount, glad to hear you endorse their quality and recent collabs with Leica

I think something like the Leica SL system, OR Canon C70, OR Fuji HS2 , OR newer Panasonic with Arri’s lite raw
