Love sharing your projects, nature and cooking. So I made a cheese omelet with diced onion and sun dried tomato topped with strips of pepper jack cheese. Charlie had a scrambled egg. Then we unpaused you and had Lunch with you. From the foothills of the Sierra Mountains, California thank you for your company. To your health and happiness.
Watching you plant in your garden I was thinking you could try doing what some tribes of indigenous Americans call "The three sisters". You'd plant corn, beans, and squash together in the same hole. The corn stalk provides something for the bean plant to climb, the squash spreads across the ground and the leaves shade the soil to help it retain moisture, and the beans release something into the soil that helps the corn or squash. I've tried it and they grow well together. And you get three good crops to harvest out of the same small area.
The beans provide nitrogen actually if I remember Earth Science from so long ago it is little organisms living on legume roots that free the nitrogen from the soil so the plants can use it

@@bardamu9662 .. YOU MISUNDERSTOOD ME.. i think it's fantastic to grow your own food. Anyone who have land or not, knowledge how to grow fruits and vegetables is efficient and fortunate because the food tastes much fresher than buying from the canned. I don't have a green thumb!👍😀

You have some techniques I would never try,they need your special touch to work. I love what you do, it is real craft. You have a relationship with your materials and your projects.
