SUPERMAN (The Bulleteers)

The 1940's Superman cartoons are a series of animated short films originally released by Paramount Pictures (animated by Fleischer Studios) and based upon the DC comic book character Superman. This was his first animated appearance.
A total of seventeen shorts were produced by Fleischer Studios, releasing the pilot and eight cartoons in 1941 and 1942 before being taken over in May by Famous Studios, a successor company, who produced eight more in 1942 and 1943.
The Fleischer Studios Superman entries/series are in the public domain. All other ancillary, merchandising contract and current broadcast/film rights are owned by Warner Bros. Entertainment.
