I had a german shorthair pointer when I first got married as our first dog and she was the best dog we ever had after the puppy stage. She was great with our kids and a great bird dog. I learned real quick when she was a puppy that you do not leave by themselves for very long. I had went to get groceries and came home to every pillow plus throw pillows and my kids stuffed animals tore to threads and all over the house. It was like a tornado went through the house. I learned to put her in her kennel real quick. But after the puppy stage she was the best hunter and family dog we ever had. And also a great watchdog.
Beautiful building, maybe just another option to paint the wall a shade of grey vs. black. Having too much black may darken the one side of the building and dark colors also tends to show dust and dirt more often. Lastly, condolences on RJ, he was such a sweet boy.

When you become an "empty nester" you will be totally lost for about 6 months, then one of your kids will move back home for awhile. That will leave again and another will come back home. This will happen at least twice for each kid. Finally by that time you'll be setteled down and can relax until your grandkids start coming for visits. You never get rid of the kids! 😅 ❤ It's a great life!

I know how you feel but different circumstances! I have my mom’s dog for 7 years now! She is 13 now and a handful everyday! I have a 1 year old everyday. I love her and she has give me get up and go and kept me moving everyday! Some days are tough! God bless!
You're talking about what's going to happen in the shop area. I'm thinking that a lot will have to be set up. Shelving, order assembly tables rollers to handle the boxes and other orders and finally areas for completed orders and pickup spots for UPS, Fed EX and USPS carriers. Don't forget to get floor mats. concrete floors are really hard on your feet and legs. Plus, you might want to seal the floors like the box stores do. It really helps to keep dust down. As concrete wears, it produces dust. A floor machine is good for reducing that problem.
I have a new puppy also! I got her December 23 at 6 weeks old!. She is border collie and golden retriever mix. She also eats everything! I feel the same way, it's like taking care of a toddler! She is 11 weeks old and now weighs 16 lbs!

I am Blessed my daughter & I have a wonderful relationship & after a very bad marriage for her, she is now married to her High School sweetheart & have an almost 9 yr old little girl. So about every weekend I was getting my Jessie here. Since I am staying away from people until next Thur for my Neck surgery, I am very much missing my daughter & granddaughter. Jessie facetimed me tonight from my sister's house which was bittersweet since this is the first time Jessie is there without me, too. I "live" in my computer room with my electronics & my TV to watch my programs. Hubby stays in Livingroom except during commercials when he comes in to pick on me or I decide to go out there & pick on him. It's not easy being an empty nester, but you do what you have to in order to get by. I pray your kids don't move too far away so you can go visit them. Bless you, DJ!

I know it's hard to lose any animal but RJ was especially hard cuz he was our little miracle Rufus baby. 😥 It really stings to lose him. And little Kelce is so adorable! I can relate to the "empty nest syndrome" cuz I went through that years ago (my boys will be 34 and 38 this June and July, so it's been a hot minute since mine left home, but my oldest was the boomerang child in that he kept moving back home and back out numerous times but neither of them live at home anymore. My youngest is married with 3 daughters that I adore! That will be your next amazing event in your life, to become a grandma and it's wonderful!! God bless you, DeJay and the whole family. 💜❤❌⭕

Kelce Kate is a beautiful little girl. So far we have not seen the super activer version, but the sleepy curled in a blanket version 😋 She wears herself out. I think the shiplap looks great unpainted and brightens up the place.
I had one years ago and it was one of the best dogs. He didnt have the chew stage. Saved w little ones from being run over by a speeding truck. He loved watermelon the whole melon. Peaceful and loving. Guards the property without any training. Enjoy!

Kelce is adorable…I watch a u tube Chanel in the country in Portugal and he has two of kelce both of which he got from dogs home at totally seperate times and ther nearly identical and they love the countryside… It does stink that RJ passed away but I believe he’s over the rainbow bridge with rufus and Bella and all those who have gone before him…we will all miss him so much…I like to believe our animals have a better place the same as we do…
Hi Deejay, Kelce is a beautiful lively puppy, I have a Shih Tzu (my picture) when she was a puppy we gave her baby teething toys to chew on and we were told to give her raw carrots to chew and dog biscuits in ice while she was teething. Your merch building will be great when it is finished, can not wait to see it all done. RJ will be sadly missed by many viewers he was just like his dad Rufus, he is now with Rufus and Dolly all together.
For a quick cup of coffee I break a piece of dark chocolate put it in a cup along with instant coffee. Then I add hot water and stir to melt the chocolate and add half and half. It is really good. Truly will miss RJ as he was so precious and reminded me of his Dad. Going to be awesome when the merch building is finished and looking forward to seeing it. Houston sure picked out a cute puppy but hasn't made it to the terrible twos yet. Went through that experience with my dog at one time. Enjoyed watching and sending healthy wishes. Love y'all

Giiiirrrrllll, YES!!! I have a new puppy, had her for 4 months, and she’s 7 months old. And she is IN LOVE with eating every single thing!!! Loves crunchy leaves!! Loves eating mulch and sticks, and bugs, which is just plain nasty!!! And she’s only 4 pounds, so she can’t eat all the things cause it isn’t ok for her tiny tummy! So it is a full time job and is absolutely like having a toddler!!!! Exhausting!!! Good thing they’re so stinking cute!!!!

Hi 👋 just a hint for all those puppy teeth . When we get a puppie, we use a stuffed toy to train them not to bite people's hands. Every time they would go to Nip, we would put a stuffie in their mouth. This way, when they get excited, they then go right for the stuffie. Our current dog is going to be 6 yrs old this year, and she still grabs for a stuffed ani al when she gets excited. 😊❤

I had one years ago and it was one of the best dogs. He didnt have the chew stage. Saved w little ones from being run over by a speeding
truck. He loved watermelon the whole melon. Peaceful and loving.

I had over 20 of the kinds of bird dogs, and she is a out side dog. As she is getting older, you see what I am talking about. One day, on your on thats going to be so funny. Oh she be a one person dog so let's she who in your family she takes .

Kelce is adorable…I watch a u tube Chanel in the country in Portugal and he has two of kelce both of which he got from dogs home at totally seperate times and ther nearly identical and they love the countryside…
It does stink that RJ passed away but I believe he’s over the rainbow bridge with rufus and Bella and all those who have gone before him…we will all miss him so much…I like to believe our animals have a better place the same as we do…
I use that creamer too! If you mix it with coconut creamer it's like almond joy...
Hi Deejay, Kelce is a beautiful lively puppy, I have a Shih Tzu (my picture) when she was a puppy we gave her baby teething toys to chew on and we were told to give her raw carrots to chew and dog biscuits in ice while she was teething. Your merch building will be great when it is finished, can not wait to see it all done. RJ will be sadly missed by many viewers he was just like his dad Rufus, he is now with Rufus and Dolly all together.

My dog turns three this spring and is finally leaving the puppy stage behind. Good thing that they are so darn cute.
For a quick cup of coffee I break a piece of dark chocolate put it in a cup along with instant coffee. Then I add hot water and stir to melt the chocolate and add half and half. It is really good. Truly will miss RJ as he was so precious and reminded me of his Dad. Going to be awesome when the merch building is finished and looking forward to seeing it. Houston sure picked out a cute puppy but hasn't made it to the terrible twos yet. Went through that experience with my dog at one time. Enjoyed watching and sending healthy wishes. Love y'all

Giiiirrrrllll, YES!!! I have a new puppy, had her for 4 months, and she’s 7 months old. And she is IN LOVE with eating every single thing!!! Loves crunchy leaves!! Loves eating mulch and sticks, and bugs, which is just plain nasty!!! And she’s only 4 pounds, so she can’t eat all the things cause it isn’t ok for her tiny tummy! So it is a full time job and is absolutely like having a toddler!!!! Exhausting!!! Good thing they’re so stinking cute!!!!

Love watching your videos with a cup of hot tea. The bad weather has been starting there and a few days later ends up here in SC. We have had over 10 inches of rain for the month of January. Hi 👋 just a hint for all those puppy teeth . When we get a puppie, we use a stuffed toy to train them not to bite people's hands. Every time they would go to Nip, we would put a stuffie in their mouth. This way, when they get excited, they then go right for the stuffie. Our current dog is going to be 6 yrs old this year, and she still grabs for a stuffed ani al when she gets excited. 😊❤

I've had a GSP and a GWP. High energy but great hunters. I found I had to put 20-30 minutes a couple time a day to play ball or frizbee to clam her down. Good luck.
