i remember restarting for two days because i wanted: cherries, a big round peninsula, no big rocks against the land on the beaches, blue or green airport, no double south facing rivers and resident services far away enough. i was sooo picky and the moment i was like “yk i’ll be fine with just cherries” the game gave me everything i wanted two tries later 💀
i restarted and got ugly villagers and the flowers i didnt want but the map of the island is good so i think im just gonna stick with it cause ive been restarting for a while now lol
for future reference :D you can customise the items from the nook miles shop (the ones that depend on the colour of your airport) with cyrus later on at harv’s island. so it doesn’t matter too much what colour it is!

Honestly Rudy and Deirdre are two of the best jock and sisterly characters, you struck gold there. (Although I don't get the Rocket hate, she was my first sisterly in New Leaf and I have loved her ever since.)

Yeah to get that perfect combo of the native fruit, map, airport, starters can take soooooo many rerolls!! Restarting for days... can't even imagine (I'm too impatient hahaha)!!! 😆 I came to the conclusion that I only care about cute starters and a semi decent map - everything else can be compromised 😄 Oh and wow, I keep forgetting about Cyrus lol!! I've been resetting recently for a perfect island layout (and orange airport hehe). Keep reminding myself that starting villagers don't matter, but seeing your starting villagers you've set the bar high, looking forward to your new island!
Hope you managed to find the perfect island 🤗✨ yeah I think in something (airport, villagers or native fruit) you kinda have to compromise otherwise you’ll be resetting forever 😆 but the best thing about villagers is that they can be changed hahaha!!
I’m excited to see what this island will become when it is done! I restarted my pastel kidcore island because I just had no plans, and didn’t know what to do because I had a limit of colours and not a lot of stuff are pastel in acnh, I guess most are but I’m picky and I care about how they look. so I’m now starting a farmcore island, because I’ve planned it all this time.

Omg ok I've restarted my island so freaking many time and I'm trying to stick with my current one. But i think my dream combo is either east or west river, long pier, lots of beach rocks, accessible redds beach, Roald and Dierdre starters, orange airport, and oranges.

@@Cinnamilla current island's theme is sorta late fall/early winter cozy vibes, with a city core center and a cottage core forest and lake - I only started a few weeks ago so I'm quite fired up about it!
@@Cinnamilla and I agree about the reset loop - I've never had a late game island because I usually get KK and then get overwhelmed by all the options and restart lol. This time I'm focusing on bite sized pieces and builds, not trying to design half of my island in one session. 😅

Though I had pears two times now already, so it would be great to have something new. 😅 And since there are only 8 Anteater villagers, there's space fo my Flamingo Queen and Biskit, my little prince. i just restarted my island today! i started an island a month ago but it had sprocket (yechh) but it also had pashmina who is super cute. i had cherries and got them again (i really want peaches though). my new villagers are roald (sooo cute) and cherry (also sooo cute). i don’t remember what airport i have though. my old one was green. my sister also restarted her island and got rocket 😂 and promptly exited (as you did). this is super long so i should end it now but i love your videos!

I just bought the game the other week for the first time and funny enough I just picked whateve map and did whateve and my island layout was the EXACT same as the one you ended up with haha
when i first got the game i knew nothing of it and i only got it since i have the animal crossing switch and thought why bother having it if i didn’t play/have the game yk so anyways when i first got it i played it for like 3 days and then didn’t touch it until months after and i was so lost but still played bc i wanted to get the hang of it and now i’m addicted to it thankfully i actually know more about it now and i’m even thinking of restarting just to get all the diy recipes i missed out on

Iam always thinking about doing it but I spent too much time. 2500hours and collecting everything again. Iam sure I will not can feel the same feeling again. Reseting will not bring the feeling back. Because it was back in a time where the world was shutting down and it will never be the same again. So Iam fine hehe. But I can understand why people love to reset. Good luck with your new island. @@ninibunnthere’s tons of methods to kick out villagers. Also u can dig up ALL the flowers and Try and find tons of the ones u want.
When we start a new island they should let us randomize the islands until we see one we like

Omg ok I've restarted my island so freaking many time and I'm trying to stick with my current one. But i think my dream combo is either east or west river, long pier, lots of beach rocks, accessible redds beach, Roald and Dierdre starters, orange airport, and oranges.

@@Cinnamilla current island's theme is sorta late fall/early winter cozy vibes, with a city core center and a cottage core forest and lake - I only started a few weeks ago so I'm quite fired up about it!
@@Cinnamilla and I agree about the reset loop - I've never had a late game island because I usually get KK and then get overwhelmed by all the options and restart lol. This time I'm focusing on bite sized pieces and builds, not trying to design half of my island in one session. 😅

And I get it, when you can start designing your island it can get very overwhelming really quick! Especially if you think about getting stuff done fast or in big portions! That's why I also like to focus on a little area and progress little by little - otherwise it just all becomes too much!!
I restarted mine a while back, brought some stuff from my old island tho, but I wanted to have kind of an area split by the river where I could fit all the villagers. Took like five resets
Hey milla, i dont know if u knew and u just didnt say It os something but Now you can change the color of all the items in the Game when you unlock harveys island. You need to go one time and then pay to get stands. Idk, i Hope i help ❤️

I'm going to make an all Anteaters island next year, so Antonio as a starter is a must, so I have to take whatever sisterly villager is with him. I do hope for Reneigh, Muffy, Cherry, Frita, Deidre, Agnes.... maybe Quinn. But I fear it's Renee again in the end. XD
As for the fruits.... I'm not a fan of cherries tbh, so everything else is okay. Though I had pears two times now already, so it would be great to have something new. 😅
And since there are only 8 Anteater villagers, there's space fo my Flamingo Queen and Biskit, my little prince. X3

Peach is my favorite native fruit but since I already have that (and the blue airport) on my other island I kinda like anything else for the second island! Oranges are great as well! 🤗 maybe next time... but yeah I think the native fruit is the least of the things I care about when restarting 😆

i just restarted my island today! i started an island a month ago but it had sprocket (yechh) but it also had pashmina who is super cute. i had cherries and got them again (i really want peaches though). my new villagers are roald (sooo cute) and cherry (also sooo cute). i don’t remember what airport i have though. my old one was green. my sister also restarted her island and got rocket 😂 and promptly exited (as you did). this is super long so i should end it now but i love your videos!

I just bought the game the other week for the first time and funny enough I just picked whateve map and did whateve and my island layout was the EXACT same as the one you ended up with haha
when i first got the game i knew nothing of it and i only got it since i have the animal crossing switch and thought why bother having it if i didn’t play/have the game yk so anyways when i first got it i played it for like 3 days and then didn’t touch it until months after and i was so lost but still played bc i wanted to get the hang of it and now i’m addicted to it thankfully i actually know more about it now and i’m even thinking of restarting just to get all the diy recipes i missed out on

Reseting will not bring the feeling back. Because it was back in a time where the world was shutting down and it will never be the same again. So Iam fine hehe.

HHP is short of Happy Home Paradise which is the DLC for New Horizons 🤗 And yes, if you get far enough in the dlc you'll be able to unlock the ability to renovate your villagers' homes!
