Pete is such a great person so inspiring...3 years ago my yard was a 50/50 grasshole/dirt sand...now I have a thriving ecosystem....ZERO chemicals ZERO love anyone and everyone should be doing the same thing...I have neighbors that stop constantly asking about my forest...thank you Pete 🙏 for all the wealth of info

Definitely. He's also accessible. Pete obviously cares about the plants and his work. I asked him awhile back about my failing avocados. He asked me if they had enough shade. Sure enough, they did not. Now I've got avocados over 4' tall right in front of my apartment. Stealth gardening, enjoying the water from the sprinklers. Pete is an awesome guy!

Stainless steel front load washing machine tub works great as a fire pit if you can find one or
a machine to remove one from (takes about an hour) and don't have $500 or whatever that pro made firepit cost.
If you make the fire correctly it won't smoke.

Knockin' it outta the park guys! I feel compelled to add this to all the expert advice.
When one first applies the wood chips it seems like forever before they start to break down. It may take a year. Warning! You have created a very hungry monster. Once the biology is established you will go through 20 cubic yards about every 3 months on a 1/4 acre lot.
Also be specific about your requests. No invasives! Nothing like digging out junk that will take over. I found a great Arborist. Oak and coconut palm is the bomb! Thanks for the update.

Great video! My wife and I have been doing all our own work on our Raised Bed Gardens and Orchards in Ohio. The costs for our projects on our farm have been substantial but spread over 11 years. I shudder to think of your costs with your accelerated schedule and the great people you are working with.
We do mow 10 acres of field for our grass fed gardens so we have limited compost and it works wonderfully, especially when we add in the Azomite and our free supply of aged horse manure.

That really has been growing nice since the last time you were out there. I wish I could get them to drop mulch but I asked them last week and they said sure. How is today sound? I was so happy until they never showed. I haven't left the house in a week so I know they've not been here. But on a good note, I've been buying a pine and oak mulch that looks very good and clean for about $26 to fill my pickup. So I'm not overly upset. lol

Any chance I can get a re-do for the avocado and peach? Jaboticaba never did produce any green leaves. But have enjoyed fruit from one of the peaches, one of the plums, one of the strawberry trees and they were all delicious!! Elderberry, lime and persimmon are fruiting, the star fruit has flowers and the pigeon peas, wow!! Y'all did mine right before this one and it's looking beautiful!!
