This grocery haul reminds me of being little and my mom would bring home all this groceries for us (8 kids). I always volunteer to help put them away so that I can see what she bought:-)
I have school age children but they aren't on the reduced or free lunch program. We also have never had food stamps. So not all school age children can get them. It surely is a blessing that they can get them with people losing their jobs and all from this pandemic. 😉
Because of my small freezer I separated mostly everything even the sausages for room 🤦🏽♀️ we both need a new refrigerator and deep freezer we claiming it is ours in Jesus name amen

I've been inside a grocery store in Stockholm back in 2005 when I was staying in a hostel. It was cheaper to go grocery shopping and prepare some meals in the kitchen at my hostel than to eat out at restaurants everyday.
Got Aldi and Lidl here in Scotland 🏴and yes love them ,a lot cheaper than bigger supermarkets ,sending best wishes to you and your lovely family ,🌹🌹🌺🌺.

How are you the only person that mentioned this my daughter (who is 13) and i were both like ✋ is that dawn ? 😕 i once soaked my berries in vodka and they were soooo vodka infused so do her berries taste like dish soap? No shade at all just very curious i mean what she eats does not affect my belly but it just seems 👀 different

You are one of the hardest working moms I have seen you put your all and all in everything that you do from cleaning out that backyard and putting that together for was great and it was hard work but you did it and the shopping is enough to make me sleep for a whole month great job !!!!!
Awwwww! Puppy on the list is so adorable! When my boys were little they always wanted to write out the shopping list. I would have to keep that list and put it in their memory book. I miss having that noise in my house. My youngest is 21 and getting married in 2 weeks.
@Jennifer Patterson..I invested in a Food Saver 20 years ago...Still have till this day!!..Keeps all my meats and fresh veggies ( after they have been blanched) from getting freezer burn..Meat hold for 3-5 years and fish for 2 years..The containers that the meat comes in is bulky and takes up space..

A few people are saying in the comments, that you bought too many sugary items for the kids. Not really if these items last a few months. Yes stock up for the kids and enjoy. Is that dish soap the fruit soaking in the sink? If it is, its not safe to use dish soap to wash fruits and veggies. Vinegar in water soak is food safe.
Yes, you definitely need a deep freezer. I have used dish soap to clean fruit even though it is not recommended, but I use very little soap, and swish for only seconds...never soaked. That is not healthy to soak fruit in soapy water. I do also use vinegar to clean fruit.
It's actually a good idea to have the kiddos ask to go in the pantry/fridge cause they usually get a bunch of snacks then when it's time for dinner they are full or don't want to eat! Great vid 😍 You seem like a great mama 💕

I do freezer bags also just for myself. Since I live alone, when I buy packaged meats or seafood, I'll separate them into manageable servings and place in freezer bags. That then allows me to defrost just what I'll need to cook for 1 or 2 meals.
Aldi in the US has such great keto products we don't have in our Aldi's here in Oz which is a bummer Ps if you follow Jia from marriage and motherhood she does great meal planning and printables to know what you have in your freezer etc 👍🏼
I live in Cali like around the LA area and Aldi wasn’t a thing out here for a while and they just started opening up some and I live real close to one now and I haven’t shopped anywhere else the deals are amazing

Hey shyvonne! You are just getting it all together! Best Buy has deep freezers on sale! I have a family of 6 so I had to get one myself because I couldn’t fit everything in my main freezer. I would put the shelves back in the freezer and put the meat into freezer bags and stack them, also put the draw back in the bottom and stack the frozen veggies it. It Will give you way more room and easier to pull the meat out! Love ya!
Jalynn Williams ohh I was thinking that’s how the freezer is. If it does has more shelves and the drawer that you say then it will definitely be more easier to organize that way and she will be able to see things better as she opens the freezer

I've taken you and your beautiful family to my heart. You are such a loving mommy, bless you. Can I respectfully suggest you wean your kiddos off all the sugary stuff. It is SOOO bad for them and manufacturers are only too happy to keep us all addicted to it 😡🤬!!! I know it's really hard to get them off sugar but to get them onboard you could have a family meeting put out the items that each kiddo would normally have in a day and total up how many grams of sugar that would add up to. You could then measure it out on a table it would really shock you I know. I've done it myself- I was horrified ! I weighed the " little mountain of sugar " out in rice actually as didnt have enough sugar to cover the amount we ate in a day !!!!! You would not believe how much it added up to ! They could substitute cereal, bars drinks for eggs n bacon or sausage, oatmeal with fruit, water and veg ( carrots, celery, sweet peppers sliced up) and string cheese and fruit for snacks. Then have a bar or cereal as a treat on the weekend maybe? Read up on what sugar does to the body, it's literally like a poison hon. I mean no disrespect to you, truly but you are such a sweetheart and loving mum and I love you and care about you and want the best for you. No criticism is meant, only well meaning advice. I'm so tired after food shopping, I don't know how you keep going like that. Yes, my freezer is so small like yours but I think I have a couple more shelves. I just ordered one of those where you slide the drawer freezer out of the bottom. I'm moving the old one to the garage to use that too.

Can I suggest if you're working on your computer open her channel and click ' watch all' - you can mute the sound if you need to concentrate and let all the ads run in the background while you work. Great work! You probably should get a chest or upright deep freezer with a family that large. We had seven in our family growing up and the deep freezer helped my parent tremendously.

My daughter had the same problem with adequate freezer space. So she bought a small chest freezer. You can sometimes find a good used one at a very reasonable price. Perhaps you could keep it in the basement. Hope this helps,💕

Shyvonne, If i can suggest. Purchase for your family More fruits, vegetables and fish. Please stay away from All that sugar stuff, believe me all that sugar is not really good for your children or you. if you want to give them some sweets, bake a cake, the mix is only $. 99 with a couple of eggs or bake brownies that two is pretty cheap to make, better than all that processed food. Remember Shyvonne this is only a suggestion, don't take it personal, I only want to help.

Wish I could have a pandemic EBT card. I had no idea there was such a thing. Would really help us out. You definitely need a deep freezer. I like an upright. Chest freezers are a black hole to me. Great hall though. You need to make an inventory of your freezer so you know what you have.

Just a suggestion but put all your meats at the bottom of the freezer that way no juices from the meats will contaminate the rest of the food

Baking soda or vinegar is better than dish soap for washing fruits.

Great work! You probably should get a chest or upright deep freezer with a family that large. We had seven in our family growing up and the deep freezer helped my parent tremendously.

maybe you could get those stackable bins from dt for your freezer since you dont have alot of shelves, but alot of vertical space 🙂🤷♀️

My daughter had the same problem with adequate freezer space. So she bought a small chest freezer. You can sometimes find a good used one at a very reasonable price. Perhaps you could keep it in the basement. Hope this helps,💕
If you had the upright freezer all those bags of frozen veggies and processed meats cool be stored in plastic containers to keep things structured.

Shyvonne, If i can suggest. Purchase for your family More fruits, vegetables and fish. Please stay away from All that sugar stuff, believe me all that sugar is not really good for your children or you. if you want to give them some sweets, bake a cake, the mix is only $. 99 with a couple of eggs or bake brownies that two is pretty cheap to make, better than all that processed food. Remember Shyvonne this is only a suggestion, don't take it personal, I only want to help.

Wish I could have a pandemic EBT card. I had no idea there was such a thing. Would really help us out. You definitely need a deep freezer. I like an upright. Chest freezers are a black hole to me. Great hall though. You need to make an inventory of your freezer so you know what you have.
