1. Quick to eliminate danger and fight any threat when it comes to her. She is everything to him, we are one. He’ll sacrifice himself for her.
2. Sets up a meeting for her to meet his mom or grandma or guardian. A serious man won’t keep bringing different women to meet his guardian, it’s serious if he brings her to his guardian.
3. He’s going to talk about her with his closest, most respected group of friends repeatedly. He wants them to know all about her, who she is, her soul and personality.
4. He will start to make her a priority in his life, hang out during his busiest times, buying you things, making plans. More investment.
5. He begins to be more involved with her family even without you knowing. Get something for her mom or help her dad cut the grass. Investing in people who are important to her. He knows if their well then she’s doing well. It’s not forced, she doesn’t ask, he just does it.

Also, so far still good.. don’t get me wrong it’s not that we have this perfect relationship we have had disagreements, but it’s all in how we disagree. He listens, I listen when wrong he apologizes and I do the same. Trust when you been through abuse and lots of reasons not to trust comes with healing and time. There are no perfect relationships but there are healthy ones. Lastly, in my opinion, when you do the work on yourself you begin to quickly recognize unhealthy behaviors and relationships. We are at 6 months and after both of us have opened up we realize how important communication is no matter what.
I didn't know my guy was in love with me, until I heard it from his mom.He never told me. But, his actions and quality time spent with me spoke volumes. ❤

I agree. MOST men do all of these things. Even if they’re not that Interested in you. Most of the guys I’ve dated have done 1-8 and very early on at that. Also, this is the experience of MANY women and that I know personally and via the internet…. And yet I don’t think it means they love you at all.
But these things do feel amazing while it’s happening. It’s all about being able to sustain this for longer than 6, 9, 12 months. So that you can step in the 2, , 6, 10 year realm in eachothers lives. Most men that I’ve seen, cannot or refuse to sustain these qualities for the duration of the relationship.
We was getting out the car yesterday and I had to quickly close my door bc a wasp was trying to get in. My husband came around that truck took his hat off and stood there swatting and fighting that wasp until he killed it. Was not even a second thought to him! Natural instincts to protect is no joke😊

When I met my man, 3 weeks later he told me he love and now 3 months later he ask me if I can see us getting married, as he calling me his wife as if he’s speaking it out. All of what you are saying, he has said to me. Now I’m 66yrs young and he’s 51yrs young, also he’s Jamaican and been in the U. S. for years (20 or so) and has held down jobs in the U.S. So it’s not like he need a green card. I do love him but it’s too good to be true that makes me scared. Never ever had a man to tell me “ I love you “ so much and treat me the way he treats me.
My man is 57 and I’m 78 and he’s in love with me. People think I’m in my 40s because I am so healthy and have a ton of energy. I’m so afraid to marry him because I feel like it will ruin everything. However, he talks about us being together until the end of time on a regular basis. It’s incredible that I have found the love of my life at this age. But, it’s real and incredible at the same time. We walk about 8 miles together every morning and then have breakfast together a few times a week. We’ve already done some extensive traveling together and have more trips planned in the future. We are both retired and are living our best lives ever. I hope ladies never give up. I never did!

I usually use the word “we” as an effective communication technique. When we use “we”, the receiving person doesn’t get offended. It’s better to say “we” than to say “you” should. Sealz, man keep the messages coming. I am falling for a handsome black man BUT I am still married. He let me know he has an issue with it so in a matter of 16 hours from the conversation I submitted the paper to my attorney. I told him I needed to take a step back while I work through the divorce. Yes,he has transitioned to all that. He even speaks about future investments together, like stocks. Throw out ideas for a business that we could have together. He wants to buy me protection ( pistol/gun) for when he is not around or when he is around he added that. First he asked if I would be comfortable having/carrying one. I said yes and he said we would go to the firing range when he gets it for me. I notice that he don’t say I love you much but he says I adore you. Which is love and respect in definition.
