Hi Kuma I have a question my male Syrian hamster only weighs 130 g he used to be more than this maybe 150 g but he keeps on losing weight and I feed him good quality food high in fat just for the purpose of fattening him up a bit but it's not working he has normal behaviour though And he is active.i just wanted to know if this is something to worry about! Would be grateful for a reply
@@YAHUAH50 It's definitely alarming for a hamster to lose so much weight, especially if it happened fairly quickly. It it continues, or if his behaviour changes, at all, PLEASE take him to the vet.

All your hamsters look so healthy and well fed, they have the most beautiful fur! If a hamster doesn't look chubby when their sitting down they are probably underweight.

The fatter a hamster goes, the cuter it will be😏 (If a hamster is too fat, it can lead to diabetes, even heart problems! So never let your hamster go too fat!)
