This app is essentially just a webview. If you take a look at the source code it just displays the apple icloud website using choc. It doesnt save any information locally or in a database, just fetches the site for you to use.
Not working as of 6/7/2024 - says browser is not supported. Tried it in Garuda and Nobara Linux. Tried installing different browsers. Still get the error.
About "locked in": You are not locked in - non-customers are locked out! Apple Music/TV = paid service = available to everyone. Other Apple Services = free service for Apple customers who paid for it with their hardware purchase. I use other paid mail and organiser services on all my devices. Hosted in countries with privacy laws. 😉

Can iCloud drive for Lennox actually write to the cloud file system because if it can’t it’s not that useful 😢

Problem for the icloud part is that you can't view a pdf or image. You need to download it.
