People often get Desert Shores and the Lakes confused, but they are definitely two different types of master planned communities in Las Vegas, NV. In this video I will go over the difference between the two.
I have been watching videos by Las Vegas realtors, you are my favorite. I like the way you talk. Thanks. If I decide to buy a house in Desert Shores, I’ll go to you.
I am buying a house there and i really needed to see your video , thanks , excellent info I am nervous because I only seen the house in pictures that's pretty crazy to say the least . you made me less worried .
I live right near Desert Shores and it is my dream to own a home there one day. See I am originally from Brooklyn, NY and i always just grew up around the water and I know Las Vegas is technically a Desert, so when I found this little gem of a neighborhood I was like I need to live there one day. I have been looking at a couple of houses on the market right now and hopefully God willing I will be able to move by 2021-2022. I really need to be near water again!
I love the Lakes. The area just seem so quiet n away from Vegas. Many of their walking trails are REALLY nice. DS is nice but it doesn't have the same feels as the Lakes for me.
A 20 year fan of Desert Shores, I wish I could have convinced my wife back then to move in than buying our horse property and visiting there on the weekends. Great appreciation on home values at DS. Live on the water in the desert! !!
not even close.. the lakes you cant even see the lakes unless you live in one of the houses that sits on the the lake.. in desert shores everyone in the neighborhood gets to enjoy the 4 different lakes.. just moved to desert shores by the way in Nov 2021 looked at houses at the lakes, desert shores and all over las vegas..
Wow 200,000 for a condo to 2 million for a mansion. Here in the Bay Area our condos start at around half a million. Single family homes start at least one million if you want more than 2,000 sq ft and mansions start at $20m.
DooM_Sal there should be a link in the description below or you can go to my website at www.summerlincommunities.com and look for the top tab that says communities and Desert shores is in there.
@@favoritelasvegasrealtor I'm on your web site. That is exactly what we are looking for. My wife and I should be in Vegas in a few months. We will call to set up an appointment to look at some homes. Thank you for your help.
busterthe2 actually it is on the west end. Look at a map, the Lakes is in between Hualapai and Rainbow, but Lake Sahara is between Ft. Apache and Durango. So that would put it closer to the west side.
@@favoritelasvegasrealtor Yep... I won't even drink the crap unless it's carbonated and flavored and I'm not talking the fish flavor so common in many lakes.

Aww that’s very kind of you. Well hopefully if you decide to buy a house, regardless of area, you’ll go with me, lol 😆

Ayanna Marielle that would be nice! Fingers crossed for you!
@@favoritelasvegasrealtor thank you!
Great comparison, Angela! Although, I think both are really great! If only I could live in both, LOL. Thanks for sharing!
It is a hard choice for some! Thanks for watching!
I am selling my home in Apple valley California and I would love to see the 55 +
That’s great! We have a lot of awesome 55+ communities here in Vegas
Unfortunately this is not a retirement community
I love the Lakes. The area just seem so quiet n away from Vegas. Many of their walking trails are REALLY nice. DS is nice but it doesn't have the same feels as the Lakes for me.
That’s funny, I feel the opposite. I love DS!!
The Lakes sounds much better, exclusivity works when you're calling it home

Live on the water in the desert! !!
I don’t know what this was recorded to me but I enjoyed it thank you
Angel Garnica thanks for watching anyways, lol not sure why it was recommended to you b
Wow very interesting

Can anyone go swim and use the parks if u don’t live there ? What are the prices
No, if have to live in the community to take advantage of the amenities.

Miles Sanford that’s nuts!

Deserts shores sounds interesting
It's a great area to live!
Lake sahara is on east end of lakes. Not west end like you said

Angela O'Hare - Las Vegas Realtor
In that case your boundaries were incorrect 1:18 as you said eastern boundary is durango.
busterthe2 you are absolutely correct, I did make an error on that, lol. I should have said rainbow, even my map has rainbow. Good catch!!
I thought she was talking about Desert Shores from California
The differences are that the one from California is shit.
The Lake has nicer homes than Desert Shores
Four vs One? I hate water it's a no brainier
Rusty Swing what? You hate water?
