I love the smell of pencils too. I think for lots of us creating is a sensory experience: we see, hear, touch, and smell 💕 We’ve all seen our friends smelling leather, paper, adhesives, inks, pencils etc. Candles burning while we create. So many sounds: paper crinkles, pencil and pens scratching on paper, pages flicking. Music playing. Throw in a coffee and we’ve got taste covered too 😉
I like your style. So true, it’s all the senses. It’s why we find it all so therapeutic, just letting go of everything else, and engaging the senses with beautiful stationery 🥰
Here in the UK we have a Pencil Museum in Keswick where they claim to have invented the pencil, mining the graphite locally. We visited a couple of months ago and I really loved it….the company is called Derwent after the nearby lake, it’s in an area called the Lake District in the Northwest of England. It was very interesting. That TN is really lovely. You’ve planted a seed in my mind….😉😀
I just got my first-ever Blackwing pencil as a free gift when I ordered some Hobonichi stuff from a local retailer in Oslo. It's the pink one you had. I LOVE it! I use it in my Hobonichi notebook that I bought for party planning.
@@desleyjaneplans I absolutely love the pencil. The store has so many versions of them, I wish I could buy them all! I turning 50 in November and my son turns 20 on October 30th. So we are combining the parties.
