I really love your channel! I am now almost 7yrs disabled, so am unable to go to yard sales, or throttling anymore. So, I am living vicariously through you and Kayla!!
Love the pumpkin cat and the bronze figure with the clock. Some nice finds. It’s 1.30am here in rainy Wales,🏴a storm is coming too. Molly and myself are now going to try to sleep. Goodnight both,God Bless xxxx
I love the banter between you and your wife. You always treat her so well. I’m really impressed by you two. Here’s hoping you have lots of success in your business.
Nice finds. At 4:19 on the table was an Apple Cookie Jar, it may have been a McCoy Cookie Jar. It always pays to just lift and Look underneath pieces, as you never know who made them. They are collectible
I was a part of the hundred outside. I saw you guys come out with your goodies but wasn't close enough to say hi! For others reading, the community actually had golf carts that shuttled you to this building and another where they were selling items. Very crowded and very organized.
Suggestion....if you want to use something as a planter and you cant drill holes in it, i put small rocks in the bottom then add soil and plant! Works like a charm!! 😊
Wow, what a yard sale. I bet that one was so crowded. Very nice finds though. We went Saturday morning to a few locally and it was 34 degrees when we left home. Did find some nice items though.
You were talking about using dishes for under plants. Every house plant we have has a beautiful glass dish underneath to catch water that drains out. So cheap to pick up. No one buys them so they are so cheap.
Too funny Jules, "not a lot of shinny!" Great sale! Finally found Kayla's site - duh! Kayla, you are exceptionally talented. Your work is pretty and you evidently work fast. If you're not copy-written, think you should do that as your business continues to grow. Think you're on your way to famous. Stretch bracelets tend to break, even the expensive, so you may want to graduate to another material. It's amazing what the two of you are doing. Happy Easter! Cat
We took a vacation to NC last week and it was awful for treasure hunting. Stopped in GA and found a few things. No garage sales at all. You did great. You always do great.
Hi the SPI clock great find the (spi) stands for (San Pacific International) I found one with 2 turtles in my local charity shop for £8 found a sold comp for £113
Avon Coppersmith as in Avon, New York? They have beautiful things. I remember going by there with my parents when I was little, a long time ago. I don't know if they're still in business. What a fun find!! I enjoy your videos.
I live in SE Texas, where most of our onyx comes from Mexico, in colors like black, cream, brownish, even red. I used to pop over the border and buy onyx chess sets and jewelry for under $10 for Christmas gifts! ❤
I live in SE Texas, and all the flea markets are filled with onyx chess sets, figurines, etc. from Mexico. It comes in Black, brown, cream, white, red, green, etc. Used to be super cheap (chess sets were under $10!) but it has gone up a little... ❤
And very hard to get rid of! There is an insecticide you put in the dirt to get rid of them but it takes a while for it to work. I would definitely stay clear of that. I speak from experience! 😉
Okay, I've tried reaching out to you numerous times. I guess you're not interested? We even visited your booth and left a note. We have many many many things you might be interested in, in our apartment, and 3 storage units. We really want to downsize out storage units at least. We will give you a super deal if you want to just reach out to us. We watch you all the time .We are both disabled and really can't move the stuff ourselves. Love you guys! Marie Walker Parker Carter and Mike Carter
Ugg! I wish sellers would use small pieces of painters tape. Masking tape is so hard to get off, especially if it gets hot in storage or just an hour in the sun.
You guys must be on the north side, I don’t think I ever heard of them doing a 600 home yard sale in the south. What got you into doing this? Apologize if this is crossing the line in asking, but is this what you do for a living now. Again, I appreciate the info on the storage units. Got 2 now. Have a blessed one.
Your unidentified item, in my opinion, is a "dipper". You know--big dipper, little dipper??? Before everyone had indoor running water, a bucket held water drawn up from the well sitting atop the well. Thirsty people, farm hands, etc.. could get a drink from the bucket without having to go through all the trouble of lowering the bucket & hauling it back up. Though it was not the most sanitary of practices, it was commonly done.
Thanks so much for watching!!!! NEW WEBSITE - thebeardedthriftmachine.com --- ONLY 2 pot charms left then sold out = )
Hi when and where is your church yardsale going to be
I loved that truck..
I would have picked up the truck. Very popular right now and that one looked better than most.

I love the way you are so encouraging to Kayla, you're a good man. Thanks for sharing.
thank you so much for watching! I thought you would think this was cool we got to hang out with a basset hound =)
My mom made a frog in the 70s just like that when you picked up Kayla. She always had a scrubby sitting in it at the sink. He was orange and speckled.
My mom had one too!! 😊

You put the Avon copper thing in the shower and it'll hold your beer 🍺 😂. Copper doesn't rust, score! 🤣👏
Should have grabbed and offered 5 for the shipmen book ends!!! Great resale ….55-100
Happy Easter. He is risen!
Happy Easter!
Man, that looks like fun! And the prices were good, too. I think I am feeling a little jealous... I need a good garage sale!! ❤👵❤

This is a perfect sale to pick up small items for your booth. Just what you are looking for.😊
Nice job y'all 👍🤓👍
Happy Easter 🐇🐣
As you said, definitely don't remove the patina on copper or silver. It takes years to acquire and some folks love it.
You should get that cool blue Truck, it’s really cute
I thought so too lol

600 houses??...WoW...😮
Last year was a lot more stuff I think
@@beardedthriftmachineGreat finds you two got...Well done...🙌✨
I saw that white crab shell on the table… neat that I saw you did get. Great job !!!
Artur Cole hand hammered,I think candle holder like for a hallway, old English castle thing
Nothing better than a huge yard sale inside on a rainy day.🤗
The ceramic crab shell is for baking stuffed crab. My mother had a set of six red ones back in the 60’s-70’s.
I would love a huge yard sale like that.
Happy Easter Julian and Kayla

Great finds in the rain. Thanks for taking us along..
I Love the statues with inner's... 😂
Hope the Easter Bunny brings you a basket full of sales!
Happy Easter !
Just an FYI, the blue Ford pickup Planter was probably worth about $20.00. Different Teleflora or FTD planters can have some value. Love the video!
Thank you happy Easter

onyx is black..... all others are normally soapstone or alabaster
That's not true. I have a yellow onyx soap dispenser.
@@diannebartolotta9641Sard onyx will be a brown reddish stone that is mixed but other than that...onyx is a black stone......PS I carve these stones
Awesome finds!! 😊
At the very beginning I was telling you to get out - pure junk. Boy, was I wrong! You two did great.🤗
Happy Easter 🥰
HAPPY EASTER! =)
Love watching you!!!
Yay! Thank you!
Get the truck, put small pebbles in the bottom, and small potted plant in and it can drain and later pull the water up from bottom.
Oops! I just commented the same thing!! 😊

Copper candle sconce, or you could put a plant in it.
Happy Easter from your #1 🎉😊

Usually onyx is black. I don’t know if it comes in another color but I thought it was quartz. Good to learn about soapstone.

Ya'll are awesome 👌 🎉
Very cool yard sale!! Would love to go to it!!
I saw the butterfly and was saying get it get it
I am so jealous. We have nothing like that around here. Even if you find a yard sale it’s been lame. I would never leave there.
Was that big 600 home sale at Jensen's?
You drill a hole or holes in bottom using water so the material don’t get hot I do it myself with pots I like
i’ve only seen black onyx over in the pacific northwest. i noticed you called a grayish green stone item onyx at the goodwill also.

It's for holy water in the Catholic church
❤❤❤❤❤
It’s the thing they keep the holy water 💦 in and you put you fingers in it for a blessing of holy water
Is this a fundraiser?
No not that I know of -
If you wanted to put a plant in the truck you could just drill a few holes in it. Nice little truck.
I can't find Kayla's creations on your website
if you go to the website thebeardedthriftmachine.com look under categories - then click on that and you should see it (if your on your phone)
Ok. Got it. I thought the categories were what was under the word categories. I didn't think to click on the word.
Those are not flies, they are fungal gnats from overwatwring.
And very hard to get rid of! There is an insecticide you put in the dirt to get rid of them but it takes a while for it to work. I would definitely stay clear of that. I speak from experience! 😉
If it's not a fundraiser, how does each family sell and get their money? Confused, on this lovely Easter evening.
I think they have some kind of numbers showing who's who??! Or initials?! 😊
The profits go towards the community.
Is the first yard sale local to MB? And is it yearly?
I might starve to death in a place like this!🤑🤭

That would make sense!
I was laughing about the clock because it was a SPI (spy) clock made in china!
My guess on the copper deal is a vintage wall mounted candle sconse!
The designer of LLB has died so people might be buying vintage things
