I have this same rest and you can roll that rear rest up and forward on the tubing, so it doesn't hit your stock you have it way to far back, move it forward so it doesn't hit your stock except on the rubber.
What do you think of it now?
What about a piece of double sided foam for where the stock may hit?
Do you still like the Caldwell Fire Control Rest, do you use other rest
