Thank you for taking the time to share your raw and real emotions. We watched the results from Canada...there are no words. It's times like these where we need to focus on the positive, be kind to each other, remember that laughter and humour go a long way, and to find joy and happiness in the little things.
There really aren't words. It's all so crazy to think about. I've wondered what we look like from other countries. Thank you for bringing me your support from Canada! It's greatly appreciated!
Sending you as much light as I can all the way from Australia. We are all shocked and devastated and can't even imagine the impact and how that would feel for you on the ground. This outcome feels devisive, but it's bringing so many people together. Stay safe, keep being the wonderful mother you are. Thank you for sharing all the things with us. We stand with you ❤️
Sending you a big hug, Dayna 🫶🏻 My family and I are first generation immigrants (we came legally and we are legally here). Our immigration case has been pending for 10 years now, so we aren’t permanent residents yet. My son is Ashley’s age and he came to the US when he was a year and half old. He was watching the elections with us and he had such high hopes. Breaking the news to him in the morning was incredibly difficult :( We made the US our home, but we don’t know what to expect anymore. I just pray that my child is safe at school. I pray that my husband is safe at work. We are grateful to be living in a blue state, but the future is uncertain and scary. As a mother and as a woman, I feel your pain 😢 Hang in there!! 🫶🏻
Thank you so much for telling me your story! This is heart-wrenching though! Why should your family be at risk? It's insane! You don't deserve to live in fear going forward. Not at all. I am so glad that you live in a blue state, and I know that they are working overtime to keep those states & their people safe. We'll be thinking of you and your family a little extra this coming year.
Dayna big hugs to you. ❤ As I watched the election from Canada I couldn’t believe how so many Americans do not see what the rest of the world sees. It’s so sad. 😢
It's because they chose to not see it...or watch any other news station that explained what he was really like. One of the top Google searches this week is "What is a TARIFF?". They're about to find out! It's mind boggling!
Dayna sending you a huge air hug!! 🤗 Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this topic. As you know I have a hair salon, times like these I am choosing to work less hours this week, because I can’t take listening to all the political stuff from clients who don’t like to listen to others point of views. Or all the sarcastic remarks from people. I sincerely hope you don’t lose any of your subscribers because of whoever they voted for. I respect everyone and we all have to be there for each other, praying 🙏 for our country!!
I don’t have kids but I have sisters with daughters that voted for the man. We have gay, and transgender in our family. I guess they showed their true colors. I stayed up all night watching the election and I too cried. My husband and I are doing the best to deal. We are democrats and we were union worker. I am very scared at where this country will go from here. I keep taking big breaths and I try to stay positive. I am older and I know I will get through this the time we have left on this world but I am scared for what my sisters voted for. I feel your pain, stay strong! I do not know how safe your state is especially with the latest outcome. When your girls travel please have them carry pepper spray. My one niece carries spray that has dye in it do if she has to use it the person it was used on will be easier to find.
Thank you for sharing your story. If anything came from all of this, it's that peoples true colors are on full display. And unfortunately, we all have to pay a huge price for it going forward. We are pretty safe here in WA for sure, and I know that other blue States are also working overtime to put things into place to keep it safe. As a women, I just don't understand how ANY WOMEN could vote for him. I too am like you in that I have to constantly remind myself to breathe deep and think positive. My walks have been more than therapeutic this week for sure. Lots of tears have been shed on my trail. I like the idea of the colored pepper spray for sure! I might get Caylee some for college. She's in a really RED part of WA over on that side of the state. I do like that she has Jacob with her most of the time though. Good luck and it's nice to have someone in our corner that understands. I hate that we have to be so divided though.
@ I still haven’t decided what I am doing at Christmas. I have a hard time wanting to be around them even though they are family knowing what they did. When I brought up the orange man and Epstein in the assault case with a then 13 year old girl Katie Johnson my sister said fake news just like Obama’s birth certificate. I laughed in her face and said you are still going with that OMG. I don’t think they understand what power, hate and racism they just gave this man. All we can do is pray and hope the good politicians can keep us safe and not let him cause too much damage. Thankfully we are in the country. I have to add my brother n law is a retired narcotics officer along with my nieces husband who is a former army sniper, went back when he was done with his service time and did private protection in Iraq and made millions..they all voted red. My nieces husband used part of the money he made and now has a business that makes gun silencers, I haven’t asked but I’m sure he has a good government contract because he has expanded twice. His father is a career military man although I’m not sure of his rank. In our immediate brothers and sisters there are only 6 of us that are blue. I knew this from his first trip to the White House but since then so many things have escalated along with our stress level. Right now I’m concentrating on my trip to Aruba with my cousin. I go to happy place..blue waters and warm sunny weather. We can’t let them take our happiness.
I am sending you a big hug and I am praying for you and I hoping that you and your family can stay safe during this difficult times and stand behind your beliefs in your life and I’m also sending all of my support for your family at this difficult times 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🚶♀️🚶♀️🚶♀️🚶♀️🏋️♀️🏋️♀️🏋️♀️🏋️♀️🚶♀️🚶♀️🚶♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️👟👟👟🩳🩳🚙🚙🙏🙏🙏🙏📿📿📿📿
