I seriously wish people would stop making comments about things they know nothing about. The horses are not hurt during the event and it's only the buckstrap that irritates the belly of the horse cause it to buck.
To help protect their family jewels. 😁 All of these competitors are working ranch hands that have to back to work after the rodeo is over. That is allowed in ranch rodeo rules. Pro rodeo saddles do not have them.
Keep in mind that this is a ranch rodeo and the riders work for the ranch they represent along with the rest of the team. They are required to use a working ranch saddle which includes a roping horn. Ranch broncs are generally smaller and less athletic than the pro broncs.
The ranch bronc livestock is generally easier to stay aboard than the pro stock. Note that these horses do not kick out like the pros do. Do you have any experience with starting horses for riding?
I haven't ever tried broncs before. Do I have any experience with starting horses? Yes, I have trained a few horses before, though I'm not certified for it yet. I have broke a few horses in my time😂 but yes I have experience! @@DustyReinsStories
Then you are well on your way for riding horses that have never been trained to ride normally. Experienced buckers have learned to keep their feet under themselves while doing their best to get the riders off as quickly as possible.
The two straps around the belly are the saddle straps same ones used in normal horse back riding the one back by the hind legs is called a flank strap all it does is tickle the flank so the horse will buck its like having a piece of sheeps wool by your genitals you'd kick and dance to get it off to

For those of you who think this is abuse, it is not. These horses are bred for this and it doesn't hurt them.
Exactly it's horses that have not been tamed
@@AddieBeasock I know it doesn't hurt the horses, just irrates them.
I was riding my Mustang last night, and he just started bucking. Someone should have had a stopwatch.😂
Why was he holding on to the Saddle rope holder.

None of these rides are difficult..giving a bad name to the sport.

Giddyup horsey boi
Man is the most cruel animal on the planet
They’re not hiring them at all
So actually these kinds of horses are athletes. If they were in pain they wouldn't be able to buck like this. Please research the sport a bit 😊
Hurting the horses belly so they can buck just for entertainment 🙄 I’m embarrassed to be human sometimes as we have no respect for other beings!
They’re not hurting them

Pula nada. Que vergonha pro evento
This is so abuse there a reason a horse bucks they don’t buck like that because of nothing
Nothing is hurting the horse. The belly strap is touching their stomach that’s why they buck
They are bucked because they are trained to, and most broncs do enjoy it its like a game.
it's called a flank strap. it makes them buck and no it doesnt hurt them. they are also trained and bred for bucking just like bulls so no, not abuse
This is such a shame for the horses
How so? What do you mean by that?
