I do other kinds of handmade jewelry and I was not going to do paper jewelry until I came across your videos! Your designs are so lovely, and you explain so well how to do them that I have to give them a try now!
I love the items you make! What if you made pillow beads with quilting fabric… like fat quarters … maybe in jewel toned batik. Or with plastic strips like overhead projector film. You could color the plastics with overhead markers and drip water, or with sharpies and spritz with alcohol. I also thought about white paper beads and dipping them in colors (maybe food die or watercolors); or black and white patterned beads and spraying them with alcohol inks. Then you would only be covering the outside of the already rolled bead and not waste your alcohol ink as much.
Oooh!!! So yummy! Looking at these gorgeous creations I saw in my mind a "giant" diagonal pillow bead as a pendant. What do you think? Gonna try these too! Blessings to you & yours!❤
Hi Chalane, I smiled when I saw you’d said yummy - that’s how I react when I get new paints! 😂 And that’s a great idea to make a pendant from a big pillow bead. Let me know if you make one, you might start a new trend! Thanks so much for watching and contributing - it’s always much appreciated. 🙏💕
Hi and thanks for watching - much appreciated. It’s glossy photo paper - 180gsm (49lb). It works really well - you can still seal the beads if you want to but I don’t always if I use glossy paper. Thank you for subbing too. 🙏
Hi Allie, yes thay can be. Depends what paper you use. I often use glossy paper and I don't glaze them but if you want your beads to be splash proof you can use a sealer or varnish. I sometimes use clear nail polish. Thanks for watching and reaching out.🙏
I love your videos & quirky humour, you always make me smile THANK YOU

Dove trovo la carta colorata?
Se vuoi la carta che uso nel video puoi scaricarla dal mio sito. Il link nella descrizione sotto il video.
What kind of paper are you using? It looks glossy, like laminated paper. Just found you’re channel and quickly subscribed!
