My dad and I did the spring rainy river fish one time. I always heard good things too. But we also didn't catch much. We live by st.cloud so it's such a long drive to get skunked.
If you are using small oil bottles make sure it is TCW3 rated. You may already know this but the oil for you boat and chainsaw are not the same. Great videos btw.

Ha when I caught my first musky a 37 Incher we were in the mouth of a river and there was about 20 other boats around us and i was yelling and going crazy lol.
Aaron Duda agreed, I feel as if mav and sobi sorta used AP for recognition then split off. No hate tho. I think those 2 thought they could make their little channels and bring over all of perics subs. It isn’t happening
Fitting for ur name, it’s catch and release only on the Minnesota side. Canada you can keep some depending on what license you have, but you must launch your boat out on Canadian land. We didn’t want to cross the boarder just for a couple fillets so we opted to not keep any.

Nice walleye, Mav. If you're running a 2 stroke I'd try not to use ethanol blend gas in the boat. Ethanol is prone to condensation and water problems. I cracked the block on an 92 Merc 40 horse 2 stroke due to ethanol issues. I now have a fuel/water filter on the gas line of the boat and I also use Seafoam gas treatment in my 4 stroke motors now. Here is a link to non-ethanol gas stations here in Minnesota. I'd also use non-ethanol in any other engine like lawn mowers, snowblowers, etc. www.pure-gas.org/index.jsp?stateprov=MN
