Nico is my main character. I think people sleep on how high her damage modifiers are. She's my best dps in the game if you play her right. Swarms and Witchfires clear the room every time. Still waiting to get Witchstorm.

She seems like she would good but dang that’s a lot of rng. A buffer with rng is difficult to use. Thank you for the great build.
Before I watched this I definitely felt I should wait til mid game to use her and focus on Dr. strange early. She really makes Magik a force to be reckoned with in the amount of extra limbo portals she can help you generate. This game is so fun!
even fairly early in the game Ive no problems the duo of her and Magik just seem to work great for me

Your Legendary Puzzle doesn't work for me. You target three mobs with Witchstorm both times and lucked out that they all ended up with 32HP afterward. When I do it I end up with the far right mob having 44HP and the middle mob having 20HP. I tried this 4 times and it was the same every time.
Instead of using Witchstorm on the second mob from the end both times target the mobs on the far left and right so your Witchstorm only hits two, guaranteeing that they all have 32HP left over

Dont target 3 of the enemies, only focus on the 2 on the left, then the 2 on the right
Regarding early game, she is notably pretty good next to Ghost Rider. Getting to Empower a hand full of Drain Souls can lead to some pretty silly turns. She does depend a lot on target selection though, being able to vary your plan if your Curse rolls Stun versus Vulnerable.
Would have loved to hear you mention Witchstorm and if that's worth giving up a card slot
Totally agree with Fextra on Nico. Early game with her is kinda shit, you'll spend most of your time leveling her and her friendship and you gain access to higher level spells. Personally, the best way to go about Nico is to build her as a support with emphasis on buffs instead of debuffs. If you need her to hold some form of offensive firepower in the deck, your best bet is to run B4B, Witchfire and Witchstorm. Those 2 coupled with Double Up means you get a lot of damage. You'll rarely even run Curse unless it's a defend the hydra device mission. One restore card is also great to have if you want her to work as a sub-healer. Make no mistake however, Nico has some of the highest base damages in her spells and if the RNJesus is kind to you, you'll make short work of your adversaries.
For the deck builds, whats your card raito? How many copies of a particular card are you using?
During the legendary challenge, I keep having one of those whispers on the very end stay alive I can’t seem to get him to KL on the witch fire?

I gotta say: My playstyle for Nico is totally different and it works great on higher diffyculties. Nico is my healer/Supporter when i'm not using Hunter and works really well: 'Blood for Blood' is great as it deals good damage and used as a Fisher or Thrash Basher wilkl also Heal Nico or another Party Member. Also you dont discard 'Restore' when the target is below 50% Health. Even though Blood Magic is a bit random you will almost always get a positive effect that somehow benefits you. 'Double Up' can work really well in Combination with 'Empower' and enables you to do shitload of Damage for One Turn. So yeah esdpecially on higher difficulties Nico really holds Team together and can be a good Team Leader
So fast only applies to one character? And not the whole party? And is it just for the next heroic ability, or for every heroic ability for the rest of the mission?
Yes applies to that character's Heroic Abilities only.

@@kylebakken2969 Make that 2. So far from the video I got Blood Magic, Double Up, Witchfire 2 times, Swarm and Blood for Blood. That would leave 2 cards. Feeld like the build is incomplete.
1 each of Blood for Blood and Swarm. Those are the last two listed in his print guide. BB is super situational - Double Up is as well but it's so good when it's useful that it's worth having 2 as long as you give it a redraw mod.
That's the problem I'm finding with these guides. A breakdown of each card with while showing the actual deck would have been immensely helpful. I've been using the end bit with the legendary puzzle victory to try and find a part that shows the deck itself.
I always get blood magic from the blood magic card
the witchstorm isnt hitting the correct units, anyone else have this issue?

her challenge is incredibly annoying, the random effects make it so she almost never does damages the right enemy with witch fire so there’s almost always 1 of them left at the end unless you’re lucky
The challenge is scripted, it isn’t randomized
The key is to only hit a pair of enemies with Witchstorm
