Tips for owning a horse:
1: Don’t pull to hard on the reins. That can really damage the horses mouth.
2: Ride them every day. You have to ride them everyday. If you don’t they will start acting green and like a wild horse.
3: Give them LOTS of love and care for them properly.
4: Board them at a stable. Do not keep a horse in your backyard, it needs to stay at a stable.

Not all horses have to be ridden everyday, but some can! There’s different types of working, light work, medium work etc.
I own a horse and don't ride him everyday, didn't ride at all over December, got on him in January and it was like i'd never been away so I wouldn't necessarily say you need to ride them everyday 😊

As an equestrian i see that your girlfriend has some experience riding a horse but never took care of one and neither have you. This is not mature i would suggest getting some more lessons in of riding at a stable before even thinking of buying a horse ive been riding since i was 6 but only last year i got my very own horse.
Yeah, I have been riding for 5 years and I don't think that I am experienced enough to get a horse, so how the hell did he think that this was a good idea -.-

@@briancp4214 That also adds to the problem of lack of bond. Which could lead to other issues. When i was taking lessons on one of the barn horses i didnt just learned to ride and went home i fed thsm took them out for a graze and grooming them. Which leads to a better bond if they just got someone to do all of the horse care work there would be no bond. If anything this is gonna end of like the annje LeBlanc situation in which she never cared for the horse and only rode her once every month for like a year and that was it
