wasn’t showcased but the alternate action for crestfall allows you to hipfire when aiming. It has slightly worse accuracy compared to aiming while standing still but there’s no accuracy debuff when moving so that’s a huge plus
When you reload you only use 1 ammo. (In repeating mode) Unless you have veteran you will eject the shot in the chamber, so partial reloads always load one more then you fired. Is it worth it? You tell me.

this is set in a WWI setting, and soldiers replaced the flintlocks and muskets with rifles long while before WW1

not yet I think, I haven't seen one person dual-wielding pistols so
dual wielding with medium weapons is planned to be a perk
