    i love these gallery behind-the-scenes and conservation videos, please keep them coming and i wouldn't mind if they were longer! what a treat to be able to see the brushwork in detail.

    Thank you once again for these videos. I appreciate them any time, but during the pandemic, when I'm missing museums SO much, this is truly a blessing. Thanks, and I hope the staff can keep safe and healthy (and employed, I just read about the V&A and its so sad).

    This is one of my favourite pieces of art and I was absolutely blown away a number of years ago when I saw it up close at the gallery. It is looking wonderfully sharp and vibrant in this video, well done everyone.
    Will it be photographed again to update the high quality image on the website?

    What varnish are you using? Hopefully not one that will not turn yellow in 30 years?

    Actually, one who had painted it could see what life is brought by this hue of sunlight when dawn emerges penetrating the calm of the fabric of darkness touching the landscapes awakening them swiftly.

      He'd be considered Baroque, before Impressionism.
