This video was such a game changer to my lightning projects. I now understood I can cut any wire to the required lengh an put back the plug or make any custom connecting cable. million thanks from Austria! You wouldn't believe how happy I am. greetings!
So no stripping of the wire is needed before it is placed into the plug/connector? How does the copper inside the wire then create contact with the opposite wire in the female plug/connector?

Thats awesome I am glad to hear this video helped 😀
If you have a hard time seeing the plugs you could also get a table Mount magnifier glass
I have one, but couldnt use it as it got in the way of recording :)
Very good video man. Just shows how much you care about lighting and making LEGO cities look so amazing.
Want people to know that stuff can be fixed, I hear so many that throw stuff away when it pops and they shouldn't as they can be fixed :)
@@BevinsBricksWorld you are the only one that would show people that. Others would say just buy a new one.
As a business person that is the better option for the bottum line 😆 😀 but I want happy customers not forced sales.
@@BevinsBricksWorld exactly. Well said.
Great video Daryl thanks for the info 😀
Hey Nate, hope you have a good weekend.
This video saved my project, I was able to swap a USB-A connector (purchased by mistake) with a micro connector from a spare wire. Thank you Bevin! 🙏
Thats awesome to hear. Glad it helped and thanks for watching 😀
Actually using this currently as I am changing connectors
Thanks for the video, almost thought I wasted money on a lighting kit I thought I destroyed.
Most think that way, but they are fairly easy to repair. Tedious but worth it.
Thanks for the tips! This is really going to help. Also what type of wire do you use?
lets see some builds soon😃
Awesome content man
Thanks Rob
So I just can't send them to you buddy and fix them for me. Naw love this video will help me big time
Sure for a fee 🤣 🤣 🤣 thought this might help people a bit

No stripping
More lego power
Can never have enough power
I've tried this so many times, but I'm sorry, it's just too small to get it back in.
Great info Daryl! Did you rebuild the airport?
No but I do plan to do another one. I still have my runway, its just the terminal and ramp I destroyed.
I needed to know the type of connector - 02sur-32s - legend thanks! :D
