    This video was such a game changer to my lightning projects. I now understood I can cut any wire to the required lengh an put back the plug or make any custom connecting cable. million thanks from Austria! You wouldn't believe how happy I am. greetings!

    If you have a hard time seeing the plugs you could also get a table Mount magnifier glass

      I have one, but couldnt use it as it got in the way of recording :)

      Want people to know that stuff can be fixed, I hear so many that throw stuff away when it pops and they shouldn't as they can be fixed :)

    This video saved my project, I was able to swap a USB-A connector (purchased by mistake) with a micro connector from a spare wire. Thank you Bevin! 🙏

      Most think that way, but they are fairly easy to repair. Tedious but worth it.

    So no stripping of the wire is needed before it is placed into the plug/connector? How does the copper inside the wire then create contact with the opposite wire in the female plug/connector?

      No but I do plan to do another one. I still have my runway, its just the terminal and ramp I destroyed.
