Luckily, I’m retired and time on the string isn’t an issue. But, what I do a lot of extra work on is my shot timing. To me this is what I call maximizing time. I want the same shot sequence at 60 just like 20 yards. It’s very difficult for me at 74 years old to get the pin settled down into a small float pattern. Enjoy your videos. 👍👍👀

If a surprise release really is the bees knees, as many say, and I’m not disagreeing as I’m not really qualified to: then why doesn’t someone develop a true surprise release that is completely unpredictable each time it is shot? Safe, but entirely unpredictable. Hmmmm, I might send Stan an email

I wished that our minds would allow us to shoot on command without any anxiety. But sooner or later out minds sees the bow shooting as a threat to our safety. A surprise release is a way of trying to counter that. It's the most effective way of trying to combat our problem that we know of currently. They made a release years ago that worked on hydraulics that will shoot between 2 to 6 seconds randomly l. That will make me more anxious! Lol

You can get true tension activated releases, like the back strap or the stan tension. But even those you can just jerk on the back wall to get them to go off.

@the_sharp_carpenter yes for sure. There is a archer here in South africa who shoots one very well. But like world class scores. Was very surprised at first

@@pinpointarchery2125I shot one of those messing around and it will wear you out. And the warmer it got the faster the fluid would move. Was a disaster
