    Your journal is absolutely stunning. Perhaps you could record the first line on the book spread and even do a tip in for the really long ones.

    I really like the way you track the books you bought and if you read them. I have a book series tracker that is much more simple and I love it. Keeps me from forgetting about series and stops me from starting too many series at once!

      Thank you! Now that I’ve started more series I definitely need a simpler version to keep track of them all 😅

    Your journal is stunning! I filled up my first A&O journal earlier this year (but I eas pretty heavy on the yearly set up pages) so I jusy started a second companion journal with the next months book spreads so that the two journals become a complete set.

    • @PsychonautJournaling
      @PsychonautJournaling  2 года назад +1

      I think that's what i'm planning on doing too. I decided to keep my annual spreads on the first journal and then just go straight into book spreads for my second.

    I really like the opening art you created, that’s beautiful! As for the size/format, I think either one would work but I wonder if you might find a spiral notebook helpful since it expands so much with all the add-ons. I started using a spiral reading journal last year and I find so handy!

    • @PsychonautJournaling
      @PsychonautJournaling  2 года назад

      I find the spiral a bit annoying tbh cause my hand keeps on hitting it. I much prefer these kind of notebooks and i like seeing them get all chunky. Archer & Olive's binding has been pretty good so far with handling all of that bulk.

    I really enjoyed watching all of your spreads! I currently have a reading journal, but it’s not at all colorful like yours lol. But, that is the beauty of art, it looks different to everyone. Definitely have been drawing for some inspiration for my next journal. Literally only have 12 pages left in my current one. ✨🖤

    I love your work. I don't know which is my favorite spread. There are so many awesome ones to choose from. I think if I have to pick my favorite book that I have read so far this year is The Song of Achilles.

    • @PsychonautJournaling
      @PsychonautJournaling  2 года назад +1

      Thank you! I loved the song of Achilles!! Makes me cry every time I read it

      @@PsychonautJournaling you are welcome. I had heard it made people cry and the whole time I was reading it I was thinking “this is good. I love the two of them together, but I don’t think I’m connecting enough to cry.” But then the last couple chapters came and I ugly cried. So good! So tragic!

    All the spreads are so beautiful and creative! I love your tracking of what you get from book boxes and I feel like I need something similar in my journal to hold myself accountable for reading what I get but also to make sure I’m enjoying what I’m getting from each box (because if not then what’s the point, right?). Again, love how creative you are with everything; it always makes me feel inspired to work on my own journals! 😊

    almost all my books are fiction so I had to start painting the books on my shelfie based on other genres like: fantasy, thriller, romance, etc😂 if not everything would be just 1 color

    Just want to tell you that I’m truly impressed! My own reading journal is in a completely different style and I love it - but I love yours too! It’s just not in me to make these beautiful spreads unfortunately. For my next journal there will be a lot of inspiration from you - thank you ❤️
