Worked in hockey for awhile and the Russian players are always so friendly and nice. Very giving of their time and happy to help out during media day silliness that usually ensues throughout the day.

A grandmother with 2 grandkids one a hockey player a Nd it is refreshing to see goodness on the ice rather than fighting and heartbreaking trades for money! Any person who loved animals is the best! I'm genuinely surprised by how good those kids are. I grew up in connecticut and started playing when I was 6 and I can tell you, I'm getting the impression that they are faster and have better puck control than the average ct hockey player their age. or maybe I'm just delusional but those girls especially, I played co ed club hockey in college and some of these girls are faster and have better hands than the three 20 year olds on the team
If Vasey retires from goaltending because his health is in jeopardy, Tampa should keep him on as a coach or in another capacity such as working with kids to promote hockey! He is very good and a wonderful example for kids making him a good teacher! There is life after goaltending!! Enjoy Vasey in good health and happiness! US loses if he returns to Russia! The hall is awaiting you Vasey right next to Ken Dryden!
