this throws me back, pac-man, pac-man 2, ghostly adventures, dig dug, and that fun animation thing to add to the mix
love the mod and the songs are bangers!!! For pico's question when bf was "pushed" aside at 17:16, in the ghostly adventures tv show pac and his pals have had to deal with skeebo who is a huge jerk and bullies everyone in his school. While pac has saved not only the lives of many people in pacopolis and skeebo unfourtanatly he still deals with him either picking on his friends or his classmates which is why pac has some issues with him.

Well today is your lucky day Pico because I am here to inform you about this blue intruder and the universe this song takes place in.
The song takes place in the world of Pac man and the Ghostly adventures (Hence the name of the song, Ghostly), where Pac man (who is one of the last "yellow ones" around) and his friends Spiral (the red tall one) and Cylindria (The pink one) defend Pac world from Betrayus, the ruler of the netheworld (the world the ghost live in) and his ghostly forces (except for Blinky, Inky, Pinky and Clyde, who are friends with Pac-man and even give them a heads up on Betrayus's plans), and preventing them from getting their bodies back (as all the ghost used to be regular pac people, but had their bodies taken away after they sided with Betrayus in a war that they ended up losing).
The Blue guy that butts in halfway into the song is Skeebo, a bully that targets Pac-man (as Pac-man before becoming cool was kind of unpopular (partially due to his large appetite and being extra ball like even compared to other Pac worlders (seriously, knock Pac man against a wall and he may just bounce off of it like a ball, while becoming a ball.))). Skeebo still attempts to bully and one up Pac man, with much less success due to Pac-man's new popularity, and boost in confidence.
2 last things that I just want to add, 1: Skeebo despite his usual talking voice, has a very impressive choir singing voice (hence the spotlight segment of the song), and 2: Skeebo and Cylindria used to date, but said relationship was not a very strong one, and ended up pretty much breaking up by the end of the first episode.
I split it up into 3 segments just in case you only cared about what the deal with the blue guy was (its the middle segment), and I don't really know if you cared about anything else I had to say. Either way, I hope my (2 weeks late) info dump was helpful to you.
