    I stumbled upon this channel about 2 weeks ago and I have been trying these techniques swinging slowly in the backyard into the hitting net. I have also been having my 16yr old son switch to this thought process and understanding the club and movements. After 2 weeks our first day at the course for 9 holes, first of the season 44 and 43. I can see immediately changing ball flights and just need to narrow it down now. I appreciate the logical explanation behind everything it should be the way everyone learns not swing inside out as we have with poor results. Thank you

    Hi stuart.Look i am not blowing hot air up the old kazoo here,i have been watching golf instruction(insight,preferance) content for a good few years.Your content is the most comprehensive and transparent information i have ever come across.I have viewed all your content over the last month and also ventured into the precision golf content aswell which is amazing also.I really love your passion and energy in your instruction(or should i say your information style delivery).For my money any golfer out there need not go anywhere else for solid clear understanding of the golf swing which you deliver,also the complement of the precision golf fitting centre in my eyes is a complete package.I will be recommending your channel and also the precision golf channel to any and all golfers in the future.Thank you for your time and effort,you are really appreciated here my friend all the best for the future.Peter from wales.

    Brilliant, brilliant vid. I love what you learn and feel w/ these theraband drills! I like this focus on the bswing and change of direction because w/o the clubhead falling behind you it is pretty impossible to get the pressure at strike that you want. This video along w/ your 1st overhead vid 'what happens next', aka "the Articulated Lory" analogy are in my "Hall of Fame" Stuart vids!

    This is so good! Watched your shank coaching video also. The bowed lead wrist that so many talks about is just bullshit. At least for me. I have struggled with a pull hook, steep angle of attack, and to much shaft lean at impact. I drive about 120 mph. And all these shallowing clips has never worked. But I realise now how important it is with the takeaway, hands in, club out.

    i can attest to what Stuart is preaching, i too was a weak, neutral gripper, it served me well when i played ALOT of golf, but as you age, all it took was one bad swing with a 4 iron on a bad lie. it took me close to 2 years and thousands in therapy for rehab. it was so bad that if i bent my left hand the wrong way while washing my hair, i was in utter agony. wish i had this advice when i first started golfing 20 years ago.

    Hey Stu, great video as always. I know you are only showing the 4 numbers on TM but what helped me a lot is to put also Swing Direction to them. It all rounds up then helping understand what you are doing

    Rain stopped play…..so I made it😅….. from your previous videos, I’ve come to learn the downward pressure thru strike
    Or ‘low hands’ to me, has made a great differance to quality of strike, but the left wrist cupping just seemed
    So different, really alien to anything I’ve ever been taught or felt. This vid does much to clarify that this feeling is actually correct…..
    Needs work obvs…😂

    I think this is really useful. I'm definitely someone who struggles with left misses when I try to get handsy to avoid a push, and need to keep working on all this.
    Can you do a video on how do hit draws and fades with the way you teach the swing? Do you teach it through setup, or doing something intentional at some point in the swing? I've been taught various methods over the years, but interested in hearing you explain it.

    • @GoodGolfCoaching
      @GoodGolfCoaching  Год назад

      There is a really simple way of hitting shape, and yes indeed Robin, I have done a video on it. Check it out here my friend....ruclips.net/video/j6Lby_47ojM/видео.html

    Your videos are great. I’m a tennis player, and this grip and wrist configuration through contact is a lot like a Justine Henin backhand. How do you modulate vertical face impact? I can get all my numbers right but I’m a few grooves lower than I’d like. Thanks!

    • @GoodGolfCoaching
      @GoodGolfCoaching  Год назад +1

      Thanks so much Matt - create more vertical force from your lead foot to then push down harder through the handle. Hope that makes sense? Best wishes Stu 😊

    Another great video Stu! Do you think you should maintain that same left wrist angle at the top of the backswing?

    • @GoodGolfCoaching
      @GoodGolfCoaching  Год назад

      I feel cultivating the left wrist at the top unless its absolutely necessary is to be avoided in my opinion. Hope that helps! Best wishes Stu 😊

    This and broom videos have worked well for me. I’ve also found that the video shorts of your juniors are great visually as well. Maybe it’s because they carry less baggage than us old farts! Can you point me in the direction of a video that touched on flighting it down? Also, when we’re you announcing the lesson winner? Don’t miss a video. Thanks for what you’re doing my friend. Best wishes, NWH

    Once again great video. So do you set up at address with a cupped lead wrist and keep it cupped during the entire swing thru impact ? Thanks

    • @GoodGolfCoaching
      @GoodGolfCoaching  Год назад +1

      Hi Chris - the left wrist is cupped because the grip is strong and gives you the ability to apply pressure into the butt end of the golf club through strike as described in the video. Hope that clarifies. Best wishes Stu 😊

    Is this angle cup of the left hand similar to what MAC OGRADY used and talked about. ? I have been trying to pressure down the shaft and have had some success with some extra yards. i am old though at 76 I don't expect a great improvement in Distance and flight but there is definitely an improvement over what I did before..
