I have always loved your podcasts but this one hit right home for me. Iram is such a good speaker that this 100 min podcast felt like a 10 minute one. Very insightful. ❤
Humna, there are couple of options in Islamabad, etc of homeschooling or unschooling clubs/ spaces. Not sure if you’ve heard of ERDC, Edopia, Sidr Club, Parent emprovement projectand many more, Alhamdulillah. Recommendations: Please invite Bela Khan, someone from ERDC, Javeria and Fatima Asad from Edopia and Maryam Munir from Parentemprovementproject.
Assalam u Alaikum Humna, what a masterpiece. To be honest, I am not sure how to appreciate your work and efforts that you are doing and at the same time providing such Topics to your audience. Your selection of the speakers are too toooo good. Hats off to Iram as well. The way she communicated and addressed our pre perceived taboos. And at the same time sharing her personal life experiences with us. It touches my heart and connects with in. May Allah bless both of you, and bring Barkaats in your life Ameen.
Ngl, this is one of the best podcasts ever. I really don't enjoy listening to people I don't know but Iram♥️ , Oh my God, felt so so so good. Just felt like listening to an elder sister or maybe someone who is exactly how i wished my mom was. Her energy made me feel so good!!!! And Humna , my favorite forever. Loved this podcast so much. Will be ordering her book right after this comment.
Very nice podcast. As a community we are always working in crisis mode. We don’t work on prevention concepts. Plus, we try to change ourselves with every new research. Many of these researches are prefunded. Then the books appear, tv and internet programs etc. we also show on tv dramas desperate women who wants to get married under any conditions. Also, in our families the mothers transfer this desperation into their young girls. Now the young girls need to take steps to change this vicious cycle of their mothers and grandmothers. Women these days needs to be viciously financially independent. No matter if husband is a higher earner. Also, things are changing very quickly in western countries, now many muslim women and pakistani women are simply not getting married. There are several reasons for it . Young women don’t want to have a sole responsibility of raising 6 children on her own. They want a father who is very involved in children upbringing. Also , many muslim women in search of right partner is waiting to get married. Unfortunately, they are getting higher education, not for the sake of getting into profession, but to find the right person. This is a loose , loose situation for young women. Since in most of the families sons are still taking care of financial responsibilities of parents, and they go to jobs as soon as possible. So now woman cannot find higher education men with phds. And then women have hard time getting married at age of 30. Since our culture has alot of restrictions. Conflict management and resolution skills are very important. Since previous generation either separated from spouse or there was domestic violence mostly. So the new generation didn’t have good role models. Plus our men usually try to avoid workshops . Usually they are discouraged by the parents.
OMGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!! Soooooooo on point, every word, evvvvvery thing is SOOOOOO GOOOOOD SOOO SOOOO SOOOOOO ACCURATE, such a WONDERFUL POdcast, my favourite 😍😍
AOA humna such a great podcast im just 19 i absolutely love your every podcast, the topics are very unique and relatable this channel is like my online parent kinda haha. well i have this little request that i and my mom both listens to your podcasts, she always says that they should speak in urdu rather than english well she can understand english but not that much and its tough for her ofc so its a little request your content is great please try to have a convo in urdu,i feel bad that she is struggling to understand when im sitting with her. i hope u consider this request your content is gem and she absolutely loves it. thankyou for the kind work. take care.
An extremely thoughtful and inspirational, didn’t miss even a single word of it, rather took notice. Hamna’s insight and well articulated additions to the topic under discussion made it even more impactful. Great going ❤
I related to each and every word that has came out of your mouth and it just amazed me because these are the things I had a problem describing people k "ye ese ni ese bhi ho sakta ha" but this was so precise and 100% relatable. Loved it❤ and I can't believe she is 41 MashaAllah she looks very young

Mei ne apni baiti ko almost 4 yrs mei school admission krwaya hai speaxh k lye only ghar mei uska mere sath stusy time proper hota hai uski teacher ko bhi guide krtw rehte hu she is good have potential i love her work but mother is more imporat for kid
Aoa Humana Your podcast is always highly informative but it's a humble request to kindly let the guest speak more, although you've a thorough knowledge on the ongoing topic, but your questions mostly turn into long fact telling stories that the main objective of learning from the guest speaker somewhere gets blurred. In short it's my humble suggestion to kindly ask precise questions so that you can ask maximum questions in the defined time period.
Thank you so much! As someone who’s been hosting for a few years now. I’ve learned that the more in depth my questions are, the better people are able to answer, the more people are able to convey. When I ask precise short questions with less context, the smaller and precise answers I get with less insight. The point isn’t to ask too many questions, the point is to get as much depth out as possible. 🌙
