I usually do one every season. I am a bit too organized lol and separate my clothes by each season. Then during each season, I figure out what I want to wear, and what I want to donate. It helps with space and feeling less overwhelmed by all the clothes! What I tell myself is: clothes are meant to be worn. If you're not wearing them, somebody else can be.

You have such cute clothes 😍 If I could suggest one thing, if you want to stop accumulating too much clothing too fast and then have to clean out your closet often, you can ask brands to remove you from their PR list. That way, you get to wear the clothes you have more and you don't have to feel overwhelmed :)
I am also motivated when I see someone with a ton of clothes. I instantly wanna go through mine and try to declutter as well.. I just recently did a huge purge so I have gotten rid of over half of my clothes and it felt so amazing! Great video!!

Thanks for the video, Emily! You motivated me to clean out and donate probably 75% of my closet yesterday. Going into my closet gave me anxiety and I reach for the same pieces weekly, so it’s all gone and I like just staring at my clean closet now. I’ll tackle the spring and summer clothing in the bins under my bed in February. Maybe you’ll post another closet clean out during that time to further motivate me 😉

Where did you find the clothing rack sister girl friend?? It looks so sturdy! And my outerwear is the weirdest section of my entire wardrobe it's extremely over the top, and love in Atlanta,Georgia .. like why am I obsessed with outerwear???

You’re literally a clothing based channel for the most part odvi you’re going to have a lot of clothes that’s like getting annoyed with a makeup guru for having a lot of makeup. That’s literally their job. I’ve been cleaning out my closet too so this was super motivating 🥰

This isnt a closet anymore, this is a store😋 all my fall/winter clothes, is the amount that you have on the first clothing rack, i used to have 2 large and a medium size wardrobes full of sh*** and i never knew what to wear and most of it was so uncomfortable
I don’t mean this in a mean way at all, but I feel like you get such a large volume of clothes from your job that it can really create a lot of anxiety when it comes time to declutter and there’s a lot of emotion involved since it’s tied to your videos. Maybe it would be helpful to hire a professional organizer one time to see if that lightens the load for you?
All these influencers hsve much to many clothes well at least she’s not bragging about any highend she hss. I can’t tell you the vlogs I’ve seen where that’s all they show they say oh I’m not bragging but it it bragging when your shoeing people all extremely high end bags

Sometimes if I have a sentimental attachment I’ll take a picture of the piece before I get rid of it, helps a lot!
