My special tribute to Wahdat's father and ustad who produced such a great gem. I saw him sitting in the audience.
In my humble opinion you are second to none in singing Wahdat Rameez. It will be a great injustice, if i don,t write anything about you.you really are the one of greatest singer of the subcontinent after Nusrat Fahteh Ali.
You are right absolutely, brother. I am from Bangladesh. I have heard this whole show more 100 times.

Credit certainly goes to the everyone’s favorite Yousuf Sali for introducing and promoting such soulful voices and endearing music. Not to mention the young looking Mam Iffat perched beside him struggles to be the proverbial icing on the cake whereas it’s dr Adil who happens to be the real icing & flavor to the cake.
This soul touching rendition I can listen to every day of my life. And I do listen to it almost every day. Thank you Yusuf Bhai, for giving this world such precious heritage. You are the best.

What elegant singing..what intellectual and decent gathering.. what beautiful and reflective comparer.. what hardworking musicians..on top of that the nostalgic haveli in the background...amazing.. wish I was present in this programme live. ❤️❤️. This famous ghazal written by late Bahzad Lakhanvi rendered by Begum Akhter takes me back to the time of 1963-1968 when I was a student of Veterinary University Lahore. I use to listen to this ghazal with my old pal fazlo (Author of Urdu novels) who had this long play record of Bagum Akhter. I migrated to UK in year 1995. It has been a long time since I left Pakistan) but to this day I go back and listen to tracks of late Begum Akhter.

Yousaf Salli: why do you always select Iffat Omar? She is also quarrelsome person. Her accent is rustic ('paindoo' like MaryamSfdr). It'll do better if you could select a better host.
Waqt ke sath sath Punjabio ka Urdu accent paindoo loog jaisa ho jata hai. Ye jab 90s me Urdu drama me kaam karti thi to accent itna ziada paindoo loogon jaisa nahi tha.
