Good morning! It's 2:15AM here in central Kansas. Yes, I am a night owl. For one thing I can't wait until daytime to watch your videos, I need to watch them quick as they come on. My favorite papers are the vertical rose one because it reminds me of wallpaper. Also, the other flower one. This project is a good one!
My favourite paper of that batch is the orangey floral stripe...so pretty. The beauty of a mass make, from a watcher's perspective is that it helps seat the instructions into our brains. I find that super helpful. Thank you for teaching with grace and humour. ❤ Belinda xxx

That was a very productive mass make session. I love the occasional session using scrapbook paper. I have so much I need to use up. I like the bug and 3 floral ones the best, but they all will find a home and look great in a journal.
What a great idea, Gayle, to use that 12x12 I think most of us have. Having a mass make of them sure makes it easy to put journals together with extra pockets, and it uses that ephemera up to decorate them 😊 Also, I, too, had problems with the Tim Holtz cutter. I couldn't get it to not tear my paper. I went back to my old one as well. It's funny how sometimes we have tools that we think will improve our crafting when, in actuality, it turns out to be frustrating. Thank you for being honest about how you feel about the tools you use. ❤

My dear Gayle, I love making these after I saw you make these for your summer journals. I giggle at 10 1/2 and one tick every time I make one. The measurements are on a little strip of paper in my coin purse so I always have them with me! I also had to giggle at Boom, Chaka-Laka. My hubby used to say that over and over when our oldest Grand was a toddler. She looked at him one day and said, “Gwouch, no more Boom, Chaka-Laka.”

I like them all but I think my favorite is the one with the bugs, which stocks me but I love the colors.

Good afternoon Gayle! ❤️ I have a string trimmer (the kind with the slider razor blade) works pretty good for regular paper, but after 6 or 7 slices of double sided scrapbook paper or not so heavy cardstock it’s chewing the edges. Tired of perpetually buying blades. 🤨 Always something… ☺️ Have a great day everyone! ❤
I decided about halfway through that I better go make some. I had to keep pausing you on the measuring part because if I had half a brain I would’ve just written the measurements down instead of rewinding and pausing but I got three done and I’ll save this video, so I don’t have to write anything down 😊 I started to score one little pocket incorrectly so I have a little boo-boo to cover up but easy enough to cover up with a label or lace or something.

I have that same paper trimmer and have the same issues with seeing the measurements. Regarding your Tim Holtz trimmer…I wonder if you could send it back or let the company know about the issues? You’re not the only one not happy with it. Think of all the subscribers who hear that it’s not the best product and it works the other way too when you are happy with a product. Just random thoughts crossing my mind…😊.

I have that same paper trimmer and have the same issues with seeing the measurements. Regarding your Tim Holtz trimmer…I wonder if you could send it back or let the company know about the issues? You’re not the only one not happy with it. Think of all the subscribers who hear that it’s not the best product and it works the other way too when you are happy with a product. Just random thoughts crossing my mind…😊.

I’d put them on different pages of the same journal, but you wouldn’t have to. They could go in separate journals too. ❤
