Kevin Conroy used to say that "if a Batman is good and caring for a kid, then he is a good Batman no matter who plays him or what iteration of this character is. Batman should see himself on a kid for everything he believes in and remember his promise when why he becomes The Batman" and I bet this Troy Baker Batman is one of the best there is out there for that too. Of course it depends on how you play here but still they wrote everything here nicely. Thank you Miranda for being so kind and gentle to that poor orphan kid. Well, To be fair All the movies ,tv series originated from Comics first ,but folks mostly remembers the famous movies & tv show. No offence because I love them all source materials ,But I believe U have to be used to the full pack including comics when it comes to understanding Superheroes. I'm glad She started to read the comics first before going further with other material.
I would suggest reading the entire Snyder/Capullo New 52 Batman run. Not sure if the trades also include the one shots or not so I would make sure you read the complete list of issues that they put out. Batman: Earth One was a really good “else worlds” batman story.

For comics, I'll throw in two: 1: Detective Comics (2016) by James Tynion IV. Start with "Rise of the Batmen". It's a really cool batfamily series that will introduce characters you may not have met yet. 2: Batman/Superman: World's Finest by Mark Waid. Not only is it a fun Batman-Superman series, it's also a bit of a DC book in general. Great way to see how Batman interacts with other characters in the world. Also. for context if you read this one, Dick Grayson is the Robin of the story.
