Bypassed the logon protection on a tablet I p purchased on eBay. I cannot believe how perfect this directory was to bypass logon and enter my own. Total genious.

Problem is when I click on the watch later, it takes me to a screen to update RUclips. As soon as you click on it, it takes you to an update screen. If you click on the update screen, it directs you to the page.

with my model i had to select a different language than in the video in order to have the globe button in the keyboard, FROM THEN ALL the steps work EXACTLY as in the video.

Lenovo fixed it. After entering the pin it takes me right back to "Enter the email of the previous user". Any suggestions?
i found a way while playing around
just do as what he said till you set a password, then don't shut it off
now go to the settings again and find the settings to reset your phone or tablet
now do a reset and it will ask you to put the password you just did
now it will reset normally and will work

No luck trying to enable "Lock device when unpinning", the option won't switch on. This is on Lenovo tablet.

The "watch later" option doesn't even come up after click the 3 dots of the Morse code video, only the "share" option, leaving me dead in the water at that point.

Works great until I select morse code - then the video only has "share" icon, no option to select "watch later" - any ideas on what to do in that case? (I have Lenovo TB-X6O6F) - that my brother gave my elderly mother and now no one knows/remembers the pin code - so attempting a factory reset and google account by-pass (as my mother doesn't have a google account).

This no longer works. When you try to add the video to "watch later", that option is no longer available. Probably a security hole they plugged with an update.

When i click the settings app page on hard reset page it says webpage not available unknown_url_scheme
It works up to a point. When I try to download "hard reset" setting, it first asks for my PIN (1234), then it goes back to the reset email screen. It seems to remember both the PIN AND the Google block. I can use Chrome but nothing else.

I did the same on a Lenovo tab M10 FHD Plus (TB-x606f) but I did NOT have to download anything. I used Lenovo official help tool to reflash the stock firmware, but it did not work. So I repeated the procedure again. After changing the pattern for a PIN, I rebooted, then I did a factory reset, and that's it. I could NOT access the "watch later" button on the youtube video after doing this though (I tried again out of curiosity), maybe have to clean youtube data as is knows I already watched it? But anyway, I did not expect this, but when I rebooted, there was no padlock anymore in the upper left corner. There are things that are gonna be different, depends on the exact tablet model and firmware revision I think. But the idea is to be able to access the device's parameters page and be able to change the security code pattern/pin or whatever. Once this is done, normally, you're good to go.

I must have missed something. I got to the point where I was able to set the pin, but I ended back up at the 'This device was reset' screen. Ideas are welcome, and help appreciated lol.
