I had a ceramics class in community college, at first I thought my hands would be too small & thin to knead the clay. I got use to it and made small bowls.
Pottery is one of my bucket list thing, I want to try it so badly, every time I see a ceramic or even a simple pot, I get lost into the thinking of its making process.😊 One day I will definitely hopefully 💗

It came out so cuteeeee, drawing is cool but having a pottery piece made by oneself is somehow rewarding in such a different way, isn't it? Hope to see a ceramics by Amanda line in the future!

Pottery is one of the most fun art forms ( in my opinion) and it’s so satisfying especially when doing it ur self

I always did pottery as a kid, I did a lot of fun crafty art classes in elementary school. We also did woodturning, pappmaché, welding and so on. I did get hurt sometimes but it was a lot of fun :)

I made pottery during my time in school but I never made something so pretty! And the paints were totally different back then. They were always completely different. So you could paint something blue that turned out lilac or something. And the teacher rarely let us work with the pottery wheel. 😃 You are so talented! The speckled clear glaze really brings it to life.
Same here. When I was in school we had this peach paint that was "supposed" to turn blue. I was scared until the next lesson because I was worried that it wouldn't change colour lol. It did change colour though, so all is well that ends well, I guess
i'm in a ceramics class at my school and my teacher doesn't trust us to use the wheels yet lol... all of the bowls I've made come out pretty wonky but I'm pretty good at making plates and platters. this was amazing for a first attempt!

Thos how we've spent last several years (minus the pandemic) w/my daughter, my sister & my nephews. Sadly they place we went to all the time closed due to hardship. So sad, we tried to raise money. Many a happy memories there creating, having great food & happy hour 😊

Pottery is my favorite!! I’m kinda surprised you tried the lottery whee first! Usually with beginners they teach you more about clay etc since there are so many other methods that teach you how to understand clay! Are you planing to take a whole class?
