#portedhead bro just quick thinking, it is known that people lighten the flywheels, could it be possible that this wiseco clutch basket will allow for faster rotation on the engine as well, cuz its lighter? 🤔 Arturo Medina
Yeah I think it could but just slightly. The lightweight flywheel is a noticeable difference I have one for the 465ex plus the wiseco basket but it's a toss up lighter rotational mass revs up faster but you could lose a little bit of torque. Rotational mass helps the engine stay in the rev range though shifts. Don't quote me that's my opinion. (Pretty sure I'm on point with that tho
So Wiseco decided to short me out of all but 3 of the screws and i can't seem to find them online, i fastened them in a triangle shape so the plate is on there good however idk if it will throw it off balance somehow, would it be ok to run it like that?
Good video! I like how you go over things and explain along the way, this is truly good teaching!
Thanks bro
Did not realize the bumpers were to be put in a certain "direction"...thank you for the heads up. 🤙🏽

Does your basket have any play with clutch discs taken out ?
What do you mean bro? With the new basket it's nice and tight the old one had like an 1/8 inch of slop in it
Do you know if the oem basket comes with the gear?
Oem basket should they are riveted on

Bro people ask how the hell do you spend 6 plus grand on a quad. It's not hard to do

How many is yours supposed to have? 6
I wouldn't run it with any missing
@@garagemcmatt yeah 6, do you happen to know the exact bolt specs? It's a pain to find them online.
@@ds--pu1tv I don't know them exactly. Let me see what I can find and I'll comment back. Or you could try to Google Hinson they make wiseco's baskets
@@ds--pu1tv I think I have 2 extra bolts. Past 2 baskets I bought came with an extra one
#portedhead!! Put one of these bad boys in my 400ex build
I have one on the shelf for my 465ex build haven't even touched it yet
You wouldnt recommend doing it yourself right if your new to it
Upgrading the basket? It's not bad bro just follow the instructions, use 272 red loctite and do the torque specs rite u will be ok
