First of all sorry sirji, just i wanted to clear my dout. For one column if load is 62.5 kn then for 10 storey it should be 625 kn. I don't want to elobrate much, may be you got my point. Thanks in advance
Your doubt is obvious. But when you are talking about 10-20 storey building, just imagine the height, then at top most floor imagine about the intensity of wind, inertial movementof top stories due to earthquake, all these factors don’t lead to total load of 62.5 x 10 = 625kN. This is only valid for first few (2-3 floors only). Original load of 10 storey column would be greater than 62.5 x 10 wala concept. I hope this clears your doubt and increases your interest in structural behaviours.😊
