i like that the contrarian looks both cute and REALLY annoying. feel like he'd try to leverage that cuteness against someone. LOVE the takes u have on their appearances, esp having the mc closely resemble their reflections :3
the take on the personalities being visualized similarly to the narrator instead of the protagonist is really interesting! the designs are very fun, too.
Actually love how badass the Stubborn looks, he genuinely looks intimidating. The others look really good as well, I love the little stand the narrator has!

Getting the obvious part out of the way first, these designs are amazing and super expressive, and this looks like exactly how the voices' dialogue would play out if we could see them! But I've got to say, making Stubborn a cassowary is a galaxy brain move.

They're so stunning and I'd love to see them and their birds they represent since I've always loved the idea of them being different bird species, like Smitten as a swan and Opportunist as a vulture and stuff... I just really love birds
I personally would have it be like this: Opportunist - Cuckoo. If you know anything about how cuckoos actually operate in nature you know exactly why. It might be tempting to paint him as a scavenger or a predator but given how much of a doormat he is ingame but I think a slimy little weasel that pretends to be your friend makes more sense. Smitten - Paradise bird. Their closest relatives are actually corvids meaning they're in the ballpark of the Narrator's design, and considering the sheer commitment to showmanship and bombasticity in their courtship rituals this tracks for me. As for the unmentioned Voices, here are some other ideas: Paranoid: Crow that overpreened itself so much that it has bald spots on its head Cold: Owl, maybe? Cold is the mercenary type of the group, so a quiet and subtle bird makes sense. Contrarian: Drongo, easily. Even though Contrarian already appears in the vid this is my take lol-
