- Earl "Wya" Lindo was an original member of the Wailers. His bubbling organ and musical arrangements live on in Wailers music for generations to enjoy. January 7, 1953 - September 4, 2017 the original bubble king
Wyah was such a Legendary musician. Bob was a Prophet and a unique artist, but I don't think he would have had the same impact without legendary musicians like the Barrett Brothers, Wyah, or Al Anderson, especially in his first albums.
Eternal respect to the true original Wailers,
Uncle Bob,Uncle Peter, Uncle Bunny, Brother Carly, Family Man, Wyah, Al Anderson. You guys have been my family
Earl was the best organ player the world has ever had mi seh
WYA Was Shy but Put Him Behind a KEY BOARD AND HE CAME TO LIFE, LIFE FOR EVER. RIP
The Wailers was unarguably a pool of the finest and most gifted musicians and top notch if you like.

You look at Bob redirect the question about the origination of reggae to Wya and feel the brotherhood and trust." Wya!"
Love him from srilanka ❤💛💚🌴🙏
This dude played the keys solo on 'Johnny You're too Bad' by the Slickers when he was still attending Excelsior High School.
Earl, you are so appreciated
GREAT REGGAE MUSICIAN. WILL ALWAYS MISS HIM. CRUCIAL ORIGINAL SONGS BY BOB'S EARLY DAYS IN TRENCH TOWN. THE MESSAGE IN THE MUSIC AS WYA SAID.
I still recall his simple but beautiful organ riffs on the Wailers' track 'Hallelujah Time' off their 1973 album Burnin'. ..

16:53 he wasn't even plugged in for this concert, 2002 live at the norva, he must of had a stroke or something , the fact he was there was somthing , because that keyboard input is very busy and loud ,but that song was fairly slow with only one layer of keyboard and it was the other guy who was playing it,
Nice, Rip wye, and Nice rasta Man chant version ? What is this version, from where and when ? Thx
possibly capitol rehearsal?
sorry for the delay. It is from the Top Gear Radio in something transferred to me using the date of 05-01-73 from London, England
Way to me was the Cool mystic in the Wailers.
O melhor e os melhores...
song 4:57? please, Bless!
'I Know' is the name of song. The song was later mixed and included in Bob Marley's posthumous album titled: "Confrontation".
@@ptatosh thank's
Parecia um gato tocando órgão , estilo autentico.
Earl Lindo was one of the great jamaican musicians. But this song spoils the talented musicians playing. The singer should have a good voice, but Bob Marley, the great songwriter he was, couldn't sing well at all. Only my personal opinion, so don't get mad, please!!
Get you head check the sooner the better only my opinion. Jah bless rastafary.
@@FranciscoLima-vr5ue ... The name of Jamaican originated rasta culture should be written "rastafari". Do you know where it comes from? Obviously not. It's the name of Haile Selassie, the Ethiopian dictator, originally written Ras Tafar I Makone, the real name of Haile Selassie. Before you go to a psychiatrist appointment, I recommend you to study great old-school reggae history and the lives of 60's and 70's reggae greats. It's fine that most countries nowadays have the freedom of speech, freedom of writing mostly truth in newspapers, freedom of assembling, and picture this!! the freedom of people like you to walk free on the streets, living in your own home, and not put in any institution!! Thank your lucky stars for being so free!!
helithemaddog i agree with you, Bob wasn’t a great SINGER... but it wasn’t about SINGING for Bob, is was more about delivering a Message, no one can say he didn’t deliver the message. PEACE!!
@@helithemaddog4994 freedom disappeared after you wrote this.
We are all rasta now.
I think ya mad ..maddog ... try and sing bobs songs with the same passion and conviction ..he had a great rock voice ..gritty but soulful..he had a good set of pipes .. ..there is a reason he is Bob marley...and well your mad dog ...your name says it all
