Monster Energy has a lot of competition to deal with in the Philippines as Redbull's glass bottle variant is cheaper than a can of Monster Energy and there are other cheaper brands in the market that operates the same market strategy, having sponsorship on sporting events and targeting college students and construction workers. Meanwhile to counter the Monster/Coke partnership, Pepsi in 2020 took full control of one of Monster's biggest rivals in Rockstar. Prior to 2020, Rockstar was already being distributed by Pepsi a partnership dating back to 2009. In a ironic twist when Rockstar first started out in 2001, Coke was actually the distributor of Rockstar & there was a period of 7 years in which Coke distributed both Monster & Rockstar which is crazy to me given the fact now that both are controlled by the two biggest beverage companies on the planet & are rivals.
Monster actually works at bringing your strength out, but you can't over use it. You won't get any energy out of your body if you drank it the previous days, and if you do drink it you just end up not sleeping at night and you will feel even more exhausted the next day. It's a once a week or month kinda drink, they should make this drink with only the flavor and none of the energy additives, it would make a really good beverage without side effects.

Celcius will take a large amount of market share from Monster. They are growing exponentially! I just took a position and plan to hold it for the long term.
Celsius has lower margins than Monster. Also Pepsi distribution is weaker than Cokes and many retailers prefer Coke over Pepsi so they will go w Monster over Celsius. Also Pepsi has its own energy drinks which Celsius needs to compete with whereas Monster is the only energy drink for Coke, it was smart the MNST CEOs negotiated that w Coke when they partnered.

Interesting. And yet here I am watching this as I sip my Rockstar Energy Punched Peach. 😊I'm a Rockstar fan over Monster, personally. But in my opinion, both of the original flavors for Monster & Rockstar are disgusting. Monster definitely advertises 10-fold more than Rockstar does.

Much so with that recent report of online influencers and gaming as Filipino's preferred content to go on nowadays is on the rise.
Orange monster is by far the greatest drink ever made
Yes, but you should try ghost co. Orange creamsicle,no sugar, but no after taste. Its a tie for me.Their orange Creamsicle, or Ghosts orange creamsicle.

Concluding 2023 with a 20% decline in the S&P 500, long-term investors find a promising entry into 2024. Noteworthy ETFs include: $VOO for S&P 500, $VTI for total US market, $QQQ for tech growth, and $SCHD for growth with dividends. Calculating my annual dividends, I'm thankful for $167k-attributing it to discipline and focus.
In the past month, my "unexciting" index funds provided me with over $6,000 in dividends, giving me the option to spend without selling shares. Currently, I've opted to reinvest the dividends to acquire additional index funds for future growth.
Apt!! I was self-managing my portfolio but suffered heavy losses in 2022 and i knew i couldn't continue like that, so i consulted a fiduciary advisor. By restructuring and diversifying my $1.2M portfolio with dividend-paying stocks, ETFs, Mutual funds and REITs, I significantly boosted my portfolio, achieving an annualized gain of 28%.
This sounds interesting. My portfolio is in the red. Can you recommend your analyst, please?
Finding financial advisors like Natalie Marie Tuttle who can assist you shape your portfolio would be a very creative option. There will be difficult times ahead, and prudent personal money management will be essential to navigating them.
Thanks for sharing. I curiously searched for her full name and her website popped up after scrolling a bit. I looked through her credentials and did my due diligence before contacting her. Once again many thanks.

Monster energy sales rn 📈🆙️ after this video...
I bought 200 shares of this company few years back
I watched this video as I drank a Monster Java. 😅
There is a guy at my workplace who will drink probably 3 to 4 cans per day, imagine all the caffeine he consumes in a short time. It is kind of health risky but we could say the same when someone smokes the same amount everyday.
That's the caffeine amount of about 3 coffees
Finally an update video on one of the best subjects
So not everything in business is Move fast, break things.
Sometimes steady growth is the key.
Now I want a monster drink.
Please keep such documentaries coming theyre great
absolutely love my weekly monster zero drink :D
oh ya
Monster Ultra is the best. But sometimes you just need an ice cold classic one to kick you up.
I never drank energy drinks, until i started night shift, then they got me.
YEAP I started when I worked as a truck unloader for Walmart. Manual labor jobs require that extra boost
@@siamimam2109 ??
Celcius will take a large amount of market share from Monster. They are growing exponentially! I just took a position and plan to hold it for the long term.
Meh
Same
Celsius has lower margins than Monster.
Can attest that I am personally responsible for about a quarter of that stock’s growth.
Celsius is the new Monster, except women and men drink Celsius! Up 5300% last 5 years. 😮
The fact that a company selling unhealthy caffeinated sugar water is the best selling stock in the market is truly mind blowing and pretty sad reflection of society.
bro has never done differential calc homework🥺🥺i need my nootropics
wym, they have a very large selection of sugar free options, we can argue the caffeine is bad for you, but not all monster is sugar water.
@@changye9604 Sugar free is just Sucralose which causes cancer among other things not a good trade off.
theres definitely other energy drinks that dont taste like a jolly rancher, like a rockstar lemonade@@millardg_
@@changye9604 sugar free option with what? Cancer and obesity causing artificial sweeteners? Yea great alternative.
In middle school I used to drink monsters due to the promotions with COD and all that, but now in college I like redbull more
Productivity in America will plummet if they put restrictions on Monster Energy 😢
Are you mentally handicapped? Are there not other any drinks?
For real 😂 I drive 10-12hrs per day for UBER. That will likely go down to 6ish 😅
ooo
The customer is every sleep deprived. That's a human working in America😢
oh ya
Now if only they could keep ultra sunrise in the 12 pack stocked in stores 😠
It’s crazy how when energy drink sector is mentioned that one thinks of Redbull and Monster flies under the radar despite Monster doing so well.
prefer to live past 50 years old
I work at Amazon and we’re always getting monsters to put away
I think it’s because they are always developing new flavors to stay relevant 😊
Everytime a case broke, it was Christmas for us 😂
The mechanics at my company drink these drinks on the daily. We have a vending machine filled with so many of them
celsius will dethrone monster in the next 5 years
oh ya
There seems to be a good opportunity but then I look at the stock. They have a P/E of about 37, so quite overvalued for their industry. In addition I see risks coming from both regulatory constrains and mutating consumer preferences (trends of "more healthy and natural").
I'll probably regret this decision, but I'm not feeling confident in investing
Drink Yerba Mate it's organic with the same amount of caffeine and less crash 👍
If people who use other energy drinks for focus and productivity switched to Monster it would become clear very quickly why this happened. Especially if AuDHD like I am.
Everybody is adhd
I switched to Celsius because monster doesnt work on me anymore 😢 Been drinking it for 5YRS. Celsius doesn’t have that crazy crash
@@siamimam2109 Agreed. I switched to strong coffee recently but still grab a monster when in a rush but realized I now need two instead of one for the same effect.
I haven't had a Monster since I got out of the Army lmao
Monster Energy drinks are the best drinks ever created by humans… Monster Energy drinks are so good it gets my heart beating faster and getting my blood 🩸 flowing I can drink 15 cans of Monster Energy drinks per day if I really wanted to.
Cool story bro
@@Trollollolollolit’s not a story I’ve already done it a few times before in front of other people and in front of some of my family members.
At that rate, consider yourself fortunate if you live to see your 50th birthday
Try mixing a shot of whisey and C4 powder in your monster. Then, take a rhino gas station pill. You'll be on a sick one for at least 8 hrs.
@@hiker0100 well I’ve managed to survive 25 years drinking drinks packed full of sugar and caffeine so far I’m still alive and breathing I think I will survive for another 60 years before I end up dead ☠️ some where.
If anything I’d rather hope Monster success than Red Bull. I don’t want to pay a +60% tax directly on the product for sponsoring their extreme sports athletes and F1 team. I just want something nice to drink. I know Monster spends in ads to, but at least I don’t see it directly from the product costing 60% more than others (ahem Red Bull) And monster has superior variety in the lineup as well.
Red Bull has like 20-30 other companies supporting their F1 cars like Oracle, Honda, Exxon, bybit etc. I think they’re expensive on purpose. They want to be treated like a premium energy drink brand, kinda like supreme, gucci, Dior in fashion
@@siamimam2109 Yeah I guess so. That makes sense. But anyways, it's not working for me at least. It just feels like getting ripped of. The same reason I buy Japanese watches instead of Swiss. Yes. Swiss pieces are nice, but they're not really actually worth it unless you have more more money than you know what to do with, in a sense.
@@oes2546 agreed. Only time I drink Red Bull is when my uber passenger offers to buy it during a 711 stop 😆
The cans look cool and the flavors are fun
oh ya
Is it too late to invest in Monster or Red Bull?
😄
Way to contact the guy with the worst audio quality for your main interview. Top notch CNBC!
Send these people proper webcams and mics for the interviews. What would that cost you? $100 max. Cmon guys
I used to drink the Java one back in 2008 or so.
Have never touched a Monster drink after that.
Energy drinks are legit will not go away anytime soon. Problem with Redbull and Monster is they are too expensive and too strong. They have a tough competition here with Sting that Pepsi bought. It’s cheaper and more diluted that will not cause palpitations unlike Redbull lol. I was able to try Monster and that is better than Redbull in my opinion. They are sponsors in running events here in our country and they mostly targets sports people here, too. I like it but it’s pricey so hopefully they can make it cheaper here. I love my occasional Sting tho, so satisfying lol!
A note about that Bang acquisition by the way. The reason they went bankrupt and sold was due to first being sued by and losing against Monster.
Tbh the design plays a huge part. You will see more monster empty cans in room then any other drink.
I strongly call for the Federal Reserve bank to lower the interest rate by 25 basis point in March. And another two in June and September by 25 basis points respectively. This will stimulate the economy and boost up consumption. Thank you. 😅😊
Kind of surprised they didn't mention Prime as one of the risks. In the UK at least, shelves that used to be stocked full of Monster/Red Bull now seem to have given way to Prime, which is currently much popular with the younger generation.
Nope , prime is popular with young die hard fans of KSI and Logan Paul, actual sales numbers are no where near monster energy numbers, and there has been no decline in monster energy sales. Monster and Red bull still dominate the energy drink market.
Never heard of it
Prime is crap.
Prime was too sweet to my taste. Plus to compete with monster and red bull they need to put bubbles in it
Prime is a fad and KSI is a big reason
Monster Rehab lemon is the real mvp
I prefer Monster over Redbull simply because of the size and huge variety of flavors... Particularly the Zero Ultra white cans with citrus flavor, it taste amazing
red bulls taste is really sour and bitter, not a fan
WRONG, the price was $0.30 in feb 1994, today at $55 will only get you $1.888m
Fun Fact: Prior to their deal with Monster Energy, Coca-Cola had distribution rights to Rockstar Energy during the 2000s. The deal spawned the short-lived Von Dutch energy drink. Then in 2009, Rockstar left Coca-Cola and joined PepsiCo.
"knowing it's customer" that's what Bud Light needs to learn lol
ooo
Anyone else got this recomended while drinking a monster 😅
That's my type of company right there.
The Beverages success is with the Ingredients as per the needs and preferences of People where the Culture is Required.
Twice the volume is a major reason I buy redbull more. Redbull is lighter in a pack, and yet more potent per can. But yeah I choose monster for lower boost entertainment sipping.

Do you have any products for W164 2011 ML UK/European model.
Looking for 10-12 inch display with Android Auto/Carplay.
My best friend just died of an heart attack at 43. He was drinking energy drinks every day.
Hypertension is the cause. Caffeine and sugar don't work well together. It's like caffeine and nicotine. My blood pressure fell due to vaping mixed with energy drinks, so never again with that combo, but other than that, it's better to stay with sugar-free versions and low on Caffeine levels
