- A horrific attack on Hindu pilgrims in Indian-controlled Kashmir has left nine dead and 33 injured after Islamist militants opened fire on a bus carrying worshippers, causing the vehicle to plunge into a deep gorge. The bus was en route to the revered Shiv Khori cave temple when the militants struck on June 9th in the Reasi district. "Initial reports suggest that terrorists fired upon the passenger bus...Due to the firing, the bus driver lost balance of the bus, and it fell into the gorge," said Senior Superintendent of Police Mohita Sharma, confirming the chilling details of the assault. While India's home minister vowed "the culprits of this dastardly attack will not be spared and will face the wrath of the law," the militant ambush marks a dangerous escalation in the long-simmering conflict over Kashmir between India and Pakistan, both nuclear-armed rivals who have fought multiple wars over the Himalayan territory. The Kashmir region has been a flashpoint since the subcontinent's partition in 1947, with Muslim-majority Kashmir opting to join Hindu-majority India over Pakistan, igniting an armed rebellion in 1989 by militants seeking independence or merger with Pakistan. Tens of thousands of civilians, rebels and soldiers have been killed over the decades of turmoil.

Thanks. Although, they literally can't. From Mughal invasion times, hindus and even Buddhists and xtians have been facing persecution in Kashmir. Many temples, monasteries and churches have been demolished by them. Priests and nuns were literally hunted down, thrown in river.
As of now, non-muslim population in Kashmir is barely 4%.
Indian army is protecting all civilians irrespective of religion but certain muslim seperatists always keep attacking the Indian army and selectively murdering hindus.

Mohammed Ismail, a middle aged man, was accused of burning pages of the koran in Pakistan today, on the basis of only hearsay, they arrested him and charged him for blasphemy. Someone shared about it online and a mob formed outside the police station afterwards, the mob attached the station, burned police vehicles and injured a police man.
But that's nothing compared to what happened to him. They dragged him from the station, beat to *near* death then burned him alive. The allegation of blasphemy was not *proven*.

The ethnic cleansing of Hindus from Kashmir happen under the watch of Indian government. Neither the state government nor the federal government took any action. As per the victims, majority of the people from the other side participated in the ethnic cleansing, even those who were old friends. It is difficult for many foreigners to comprehend that the majority community in India went through such treatment at the hands of the minority community post independence. Additionally, numerous administrations were unable to securely relocate the Hindu community to Kashmir. The Left's portrayal of Hindus as villains contributed significantly to this ethnic cleansing as well, which further aided Pakistan in spreading Islamic terrorism throughout India. Since, Pakistan failed to gain international support for what they call Islamic resistance, now their new tactics is to secularize the name of terrorist organizations. Example The Resistance Front which is an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba (translated as Army of the Righteous, or Army of the Pure ). Because names like Lashkar-e-Taiba which Pakistan thought will organize Muslims, instead brought negative publicity for the community and Pakistan.
It's not India Controlled Kashmir, but Kashmir. It's an integral part of India.
Thank you for covering. Many people don’t fully understand the seriousness of terrorist attacks unless they have faced them personally. Sadly, many avoid talking about these events openly to avoid offending any community. But those who have lost loved ones in such attacks often find it hard to find the closure they need.
The worst part is, when ethnic cleansing was happening in Kashmir, Indian judiciary which is often very proactive and takes Suo Moto action when something happens to people from minority community or those from protected categories was silent in action. After decades, Supreme Court in 2017 declined to entertain the plea for probe into massacre of Hindus in Kashmir.

One of the people killed in this attack was a 2 year old innocent boy. Many other small children were badly injured in this attack. The attacker was a former Pakistani SSG commando. Local Muslims helped him. Which bus has Hindu pilgrims?😢

The story of the movie 'The Kashmir files' may seem odd for non-Indians. But when you are from the region you know that the mentality of Indians used to be like that in those times.
People had a weak and defeated mindset. Guess 200 years of colonization and foreign rule does this to people. They lose the ability to fight or stand up for themselves. Instead they keep their heads down and hope that the wrath of the enemy goes down by itself.

*What actually happened is a terrorist got into bus and ordered driver to stop the bus and get everyone out, but the bus driver refused and speed up the bus, the terrorist then shot the bus driver who lost his control on bus but then regained it, so then the terrorist fired second shot on his head killing him on the spot after which the conductor of the bus took over the bus control but the terrorist shot him too after which the bus lost it's control and fell off the mountain killing and injuring many. If it was not for the bravery of those two people everyone would have died on spot at the hands of terrorist. The Muslims of Kashmir thinks since they are the mojority there, they should have total control over kashmir and no non Muslim should be allowed there, there even carried out a genocide of Kashmiri Hindus previously which nobody knows about outside India. So one of my Kashmiri Hindu friend shared the experience of his father fleeing from Kashmir
His late aunt his father and his uncle all three of them were young and during best Islamic violence they were desperately trying to flee Kashmir to Nepal or India. while trying to flee their neighbours and villagers captured his aunt and his grandfather, while his father and uncle has to hide into the deep forest when they came back to check whether his aunt and his and grandfather is alive. they saw the true horror of the Islamist is grandfather body was headless and his aunt probably r@ped and glass shards and iron rods were pierced into his aunt's private parts and on one of her breast they engrave allah hu akbar while his aunt survived that incident but died after few months.the government of that time in india put his father and uncle behind bars in suspicion of illegal activities for three years

For example, in the scene where a lady was cut in half after being violated the movie showed the perpetrators using an electric saw. in reality, it was a manual saw, and there were people who are cutting her apart.
The incident where the guy was shot in a rice barrel - in reality the Wife was fed the rice with her husband’s blood for one week. She just lost her mental balance after that.
Kind of dumb...when you get your " opinions" about Kashmir from Documentaries but refuse to accept the movie based on the fact . I know West doesn't see terrorism as terrorism until 9/11 like shit happens.

Took away women's rights,
Rights of lower caste people,
Had differentiation of inheritance for females,
Etc.
It was abrogated recently and the common Kashmiris now have more equal rights which earlier only a few elite families controlled the beurocracy etc
It's not a good idea to do blasphemous art. I think your show is great but you let yourself down the gutter with blasphemous art. As a Christian I can not support this decision. ✌️
