Ive noticed vans really do melt away fast. I was brakeless forever but ive put a brake on since moving part way up a mountain lol. Riding to my local park has extremely steep downhill and it just eats shoes even while using my rear brake which despite being a shadow brake with a chrome rim, it still squeels like a pig and i still have to use my feet to help stabilize and slowdown. Looking forward to trying some Etnies now that youve recommended them. Thanks Mike, your a legend btw, i remember seeing pics of you in ancient RideBmx mags pretty certain like over 10 years ago during the "golden era" lol
After riding in vans for over 10 years I switched to FADE 108hz Joris signature shoe. It has a solid rubber sole which has been really nice along with a hardened toe that is nice for foot jams. Highly recommend these
Hey fede, didn’t know u had your own channel. I just commented on Scotty’s vid that I would like to see you come back for a vid and just ride and hangout. Miss seeing you riding and the crew from the older vids especially after seeing the international bad boy visit. Don’t know your guys relationship nowadays but Ik I and a lot of other subs would love to see you, vin, dom, Cory and Matty ride together again and maybe shout out your channel! I watched you guys but never rode this is a Great vid becuz I was just thinking about getting me a bmx bike.
Sit on obstacles. I usually go to a skatepark and I'm one of the few who rides a BMX there. Some skaters look like they do it on purpose, sit on obstacles on the line I'm trying to do, or drop their stuff to get in the way. It's pretty annoying even today some people think they own the "skate" park. Good thing not all skaters are like that, but there are still a few to get in the way of the fun.
Also, in my old age now, i enjoy a good ghost ride lol, mostly chucking it into the deep end of the bowl because its funny. I might have had too many concussions though, im on disability for brain injury and probably annoy everyone when i go to the park lol
I'd like a pair of those Rad shoes or those new Scotty Cranmer hightop Vans.... Preferably all black. I like that part where you said they was going to put a roller.... Love the idea of modifying it but it still looks like an awesome roll-in spot or just a gap or maybe a place for huge 3 - 4 stair w/ some longer kinked rails.
Jordan 1 mids are great riding shoes imo

Can never have too much wax
Shadow Conspiracy Helmet is the BEST... Vans are like Velcro on the pedals.
I ride in Globe skate shoes. They're flat, but grip well.

When I would be a Max with my Diamondback Viper I only wore skate shoes no pads or helmet. I always wore mechanics gloves

Etnies, love ‘em so much that I named my second son Etny
Thank you
4:53 is my favorite Spot. LM
More graffiti :/ seems like skaters are doing it more and more at parks, going to make it hard to get new parks opened or keep them going
Stilettos really dig into my pedals well.
Bring back some “will it ride” vids…👍👍
