@rickc.3536 Hello! Down here in South Florida, we call them rescues because they have a 3-man crew of firefighter/Paramedics that can do ALS & transport to the hospital, They can also fight fires with other fire engines on scenes. Thanks for watching!
@@Mr.Brushy why not just have a regular medic unit with two firefighter medics and allocate the third guy to an engine to a separate ems unit. I mean in times of ems shortage it seems wasteful to have 3 fire/medics on one ambulance when really you don't even need a medic 90% of calls
@@rickc.3536depends on the nature of the call and the size of the patient the extra hand or two makes a difference with a lift assist and reps/cardiace arrest emergency.
