When I played this fight, i thought miyata would be a great challenge since he's ippo final challenge in his what if story mode. But the game as too many OP characters like ippo, sawamura, itagaki, takamura and more. With ippo, i just spam bodyblows and hooks because his 1,2 are predictable by the A.I. Also miyata was WAYY harder with the rematch in the what if story mode with mashiba. Why didnt they put the same difficulty in this fight against ippo ? I hope (if they're making a sequel of this game) they balance the characters and fix the difficulty of this game and also add a REAL multiplayer.
TheRealXperience I never knew there was a Hajime No Ippo game!! :O I've looked for it on Xbox, but I guess it's only PC and PlayStation exclusive? Also without subs I would never understand it XD But oh my it looks so good :D
Note: jolt requires a swift hand movement plus a dart, if he tries he'll get a knockdown after ippo getting 2 knockdown hits, and miyada always has trouble getting back up, ippo is used to it
Also, in the manga Ippo trained his legs like a madman. He didn't use the dempsey roll, but the coach thought that when Ippo would use it, he could control it better, and takamura thought that if Ippo could mix uppercuts to the Dempsey roll then it would become un-counterable

Hope for a sequel with more characters and game modes. Open world storymode would be nice.

Considering that Ippo doesn't stop his Dempsey Roll mid-way, I think Miyata's Jolt Counter on Ippo's Dempsey Roll would outright knock-out/kill Ippo.
