I uploaded Gutenberg today. I will make the adjustment now instead of later. With both my websites I'm in the very beginning stages of building them so using Gutenberg now only makes sense for me. I was using Elementor. No reason to now. Not for my needs. I give Gutenberg a thumbs up.
Welcome, Mr. Gutenberg to the world of WordPress. It's exciting and a welcome feature in WordPress. Classic editor now around a decade old but this will be altogether new experience. This is just a beginning of Mr. Gutenbern and I'm sure will evolve with time just like WP evolved from where it was just a blogging platform in it's initial days and now best CMS. Thanks Darrel for the awesome video. I regularly follow your videos and have "bell" icon clicked so I don't miss your vids. Stay blessed! :)
I’ve tried and given up on WP many times, even after trying Divi. Compared to Squarespace and similar, it’s just too much hassle if you have a small business. But your tutorials are still great, I watch occasionally to keep up with what’s happening in WP land
I am having trouble understanding how Gutenberg works with elementor. So, I have the choice to click on "edit with elementor" or back to WordPress editor. When I click on back to WordPress I get this popup saying, "please note that you are switching to WordPress default editor. Your current layout, design, and content might break." Is that because I'm would be taken to Gutenberg or would I be taken back to the old WordPress page builder? Also, can I use Gutenberg and Elementor together? If so how. I can't figure out how to access Gutenberg. I've looked for YT videos and articles on this but I can't find what I'm looking for. I hope someone can understand what I'm talking about.
I can't move stuff around....BUT ITS FINE GUYS, Don't worry about it. It's a little glitchy....BUT ITS FINE. Widgets, feature images and shortcodes don't work....BUT ITS FINE GUYS, SERIOUSLY DONT WORRY ABOUT IT.
Is there any way to place a background theme while using Gutenberg. All tutorials feature Gutenberg blocks on a white back drop. What themes would work well with Gutenberg? I have been using Oceanwp and like the theme
Hi Darrel Wilson, would mind to show us how to create form by using Gutenberg because that will help us to create Funnel for our affiliate marketing and without using Click Funnel and other costly soft wares Again Thanks a lot for all your videos that you make our life easier :)
I was interested in Gutenberg review, because Wordpress is soon going to make it default editor and I was a bit afraid. I'm happy to see your review and to know that it is ok. But for me the Gutenberg still doesn't look like a ready product :/ I'm still a bit afraid that it might cause some bugs or have lacks of some options. I hope they will work on it and they will develop more options and make it a proper editor-slash-builder that will be as good as whole Wordpress. Thanks for that video. It was really helpful :)
Darrel Wilson can you please update videos about how to droPSHIPPING WEBSITE with WordPress and Woocommerce and what plugin we need and ho to chose right theme
I want to point out, that Gutenberg does not exist in the frontend like Divi. BUT that is a good point for many because is less resource intensive. I really like Gutenberg and is a great addition to default WordPress, because it was lacking behind all the visual editors out there. Still has to be ironed a lot more though :P
It's a pity that Gutenberg does not now give the opportunity to highlight a section of text in a paragraph and choose another colour - Black to Red for instance.
I'm frustrated by Gutenberg. Watching your review was very helpful. I'm not happy with the block format. I cannot figure out how to just hit enter and have the editor go to the next line instead of moving down to another block. I'm fairly new to all of this so maybe it's just me. Thanks.
Let me know your experiences with Gutenberg below!
Wow the ability to make several columns with a click, kinda reminds me of Indesign which I used to publish magazines and Newspapers.

I wanted to say Happy belated teacher's day, Darrel! You're one of the best teachers of my life.
thanks brotha!

Is there a way to control the width of columns or sentences?

So what impact does thus have in Elementor? Is nothing changed, or is this going to screw everything up?
nothing, its just a new editor for a better writing experience

it does, but it will not replace any page builder, simply an editor

im sure we can see it evolve as it gets released

sigh i know but we will have to get used iit to, its part of core
But why do we need it when there's already elementor and divi?
Because divi and elementor is not free..
Well, i meant, does a divi user need it?
again its just for a better writing experience
u d man Darrel!
Another great video, thanks
thanks omar!
thank you Darrel good video you the best like always
I followed your all videos. learn many things. please create a full e-commerce website with elementor pro
ill add this to my list!
Can we still switch the editor to HTML?
you can use the classic as long as you would like but i think they will phase it out after a few months
It' s goon and all but it still looks like a pre alpha or Elementor on "lowest" settings. See how it goes later.
