The main reason I visited Niigata! I had three rounds at the sake vending machines, and also visited the Imayotsukasa sake brewery for another 10 shots or more.... I drank more sake than water that day, totally worth it!
Great video Miki, the food looked amazing especially that sushi. I imagine the egg fish cake was also very tasty. One thing that stands out from my trip to Niigata was the seafood 😋. And that japanese garden looked so beautiful. Thank you for all your hard work Miki 😊

For those only staying in Tokyo and really wanna try out Ponshukan but dont wanna go all the way to Niigata, there is one at Echigoyuzawa which is a short trip with the bullet train from tokyo station. The little town is very scenic and beatiful lille town. The Ponshukan is located at the station, and be sure to check out the opening time as it isnt open every day. Ended up trying 59 different sake when i was there.
I completely missed this place when I went to niigata. The onigiri place was near my hotel, but I didn't know about it. I'll go next time I'm in the area ❤
I didn't have much time in niigata city. I got there late at night, so I had ramen at a nice place near the station. The next day I went to Sado Island, the day I wanted to go to the garden it rained heavily, so I went to a different city. Niigata is a nice place that I want to visit again 🌞
