Maybe it is just me or people who picked up Kuon but never played Rune before have no idea what they're doing, but Forest tends to kill Kuon by turn 6 or 7 average, both variants
@@elin111 it's really important to understand your win condition and this isnt the tyoe of deck where you play on curve to win. It's all about the set up into the kuon dshift turns.
I really like the list without Penguins BUT penguin is good if you keep running into match ups that dont do anything for like 3 turns or might be pretty good in the mirror if you open it and they dont. I'm not sold the card is 100% needed in the deck yet though.
I think it really comes down to how you force discards on Kuon. The match up is probably a close 50-50 but I have no tested it out so I might be wrong.
Do you guys think Kuon is the big bad of this meta? What spicy tech have you been using with Kuon or against it?

@@BurnOneSVE Evidently players picking up Kuon without Rune experience are doing that mistake
How is this deck fair against Storm Ward Wilbert deck?
No penguins? Makes spellchain really really easy earlier

How well do you think the control abyss deck fares against this deck?
